Masked Finches (Poephila personata). Don Findlater

FSA Treasurer Don Findlater shares his experiences keeping and breeding Masked Finches in his small back yard aviary in suburban Hunters Hill. Don acquired his first Masks some 15 years ago from fellow FSA member Joe Cavill and has maintained a small colony ever since. A back to basics presentation that hopefully will encourage others to consider keeping this understated but delightful finch that is becoming difficult to find.
