Hi everyone! Today I'm reviewing the beautiful Strawberry Kimono Maiden set that Volks released at Dolpa 47 in April 2022.
This outfit us more complicated than most Volks outfits so I show you how to put it on step-by-step. I could have made the kimono even shorter so that the underskirt peeks out more at the bottom but it’s a matter of personal preference.
The doll modeling the outfit is Dollfie Dream Rin Tohsaka (ver 2).

I’m going to leave it on Rin for a few days and see what happens 😅
The only bit I’m concerned about is the dark red lining of the kimono where the juban (undershirt) doesn’t completely cover her forearms.
And maybe the red ribbon from the bonnet on the back of her head. 🤔

I’ve been to Otakon before - but quite some time ago! I remember lining for 4 hours around the convention center to pick up my badge 🫤
After that I swore to myself that unless I can get my badge mailed to me ahead of time or I’m staff that there’s no way I will do that kind of line up again. 🤦🏻♀️
