I wish that all captive big cats were living like this!
Oh, that was a good chuckle, Keisha was so adorable playing with her big ball!
I wish every facility housing big cats and other exotic animals shared your passion. Tossing toys into their enclosures is not enough to keep them active for weeks, months and years. It requires something NEW to keep their minds stimulated, especially the ones living alone. Well done, Big Cat Rescue!
+90Kirame Thank you!! Enrichment is very important in the lives of captive animals.
Nice to see the cats moving around
So cute!
Yay! The big cats are adorable as always!
Since these cats can't be in the wild, this is amazing. Thanks for giving these tigers/servels/lions/cougers/lepords/caracals/what ever else such a good life.
you guys at Big Cat Rescue have my undying respect. you do so much for them, instead of simply feeding them you provide enrichment programs that keep them happy and stimulated. God bless you *and* the Big Kitties!
+Madeleine Baier Thank you for watching and for your support!
Keisha is really a happy girl. Totally different from scared and angry tiger when she first arrived. And Reise is a beautiful lady.
they seem to really love the balls ! you are the only sanctuary i have seen that cares about their mental health
Aaaw, look at those happy kitties
Looks like loads of fun for them.
The seasonal enrichment killed me... I'm just imagining some volunteers spending a whole bunch of time making these fancy toys and then the cats ripping them apart.
Great job, you all! The videos show you really care, over and over again. Thanks.
Thank you for watching!
I love what you guys do for these cats!
+Beth Washbourne Thank you for watching!!
I'm glad you can reply to me to! I love the videos you make!😝💗💗im such a big cat lover 🐆🐯
Small or big, cats remain curious and playful :D This video is a pure pleasure to watch. Thanks, guys, for being so caring for them!
You guys are so good to give these cats shelter and give them experiences like this Keep up the good work
U guys are pawsome 🐅🐆🐅🐆
You guys are absolutely amazing! You gave these cats the life they deserve and I am so grateful for them😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍
AWWW cute
I love all the big and small cats in BCR, one day I will go there 💕💖💖
u guys are awesome
I love how you all work so hard to keep the cats happy, and entertained!
0:40 - What a clumsy goof
lol the other tiger isn't even startled, they just look back like "there he goes yet again, the dummy."
I like the puma
I love the enrichment. Some look like they took a lot of time and effort to make, so glad they get immortalized on film before the big kitties rip them to shreds. A big cat version of Neko Atsume would be fun to see one day.
It's fun to see how similar big cats are to small domesticated cats. They are just as playful and curious. It´s fun to see that big cats also likes to play with cardboard boxes and balls :)
thank you for your job! Amazing place for these cats:)
Yay i love the videos
Reise!!! ❤️❤️❤️
yey happy kitties :3
Haha I love nothing more than the Cougar's "Rahr"
Those look like lots of fun. It certainly is fun to watch the big cats play! Thank you for all y'all do.
You could really get a sense of just how heavy tigers are when the camera shook when they were playing the ball
I laughed really loud at 0:40
I couldn't work at BCR, I'd have this overwhelming urge to hug all of the cats. I don't know how you guys do it!
Knowing they'd get ripped to shreds probably helps reduce the urge for cuddles
cute
yyrroooww thanks for all your hard work...magical!
A cat, is a cat, is a cat
omg omg omg Look at Keisha!! 2:21 So adorable! I love watching her be so happy ^_^
+missykim is that the tiger with the bob tail? I need this information cuz I never want to know the story of that injury.
Yes, it's the tiger with the bobbed tail. She came to BCR like that. They really aren't certain as to how it happened, but they have an educated guess.

Big Cat Rescue
said I dont want to know. I dont need that kind of stuff in my head.

You guys really are amazing with how you endeavor to make the cats lives as full and enriched as possible in captivity. I hope you're going to make use of the toys that have holes in them to place things inside or put smell in them to give the cats an extra level of fun. Having to work to get something out of a toy would really get their brains working.
GREAT + Beautyful Vide0
Man my cat does some crazy stuff when she gets catnip!
Because He's High, Of Course
"enrichement" is like buying yourself a new game for "education" :p
Well I think some of this maybe more for the employees than the cats, but still. Its good that these things are done and any reason is a good one.
+Hobgoblin1975 Enrichment is never for the staff and volunteers. Enrichment is vital to stimulate the minds and bodies of captive animals to prevent boredom.
I love to watch them play, although I think "indestructible plastic" may meet it's match. If not utterly destroyed it's going to show serious battle scars. Sigh...at least, unlike my cats, they can't bat their toys under the fridge or furniture ten seconds after getting them and then give you the "okay go dig it out or give me another one" look. But then my cats wouldn't eat people.....I take that back one thinks my toes are "live prey enrichment".
50 Shades Of Lion
The big circular things that u showed on the first one I think it looks like a thumb tack without the mental part
Are the permanent enrichment toys specifically made for big cats or are they repurposed from something else? Btw, they really liked those huge balls!!
These balls are made "indestructible" for larger animals like these.
He the leopard had a seizure
It seems like a lot of the cats don't have a ton of room and are alone... are they happy? It seems like you guys do a great job at taking care of them, but I wonder if some of the cats are lonely and unhappy with the amount of space they have. It doesn't seem like very much!
+Shelby Hoving Our enclosures are actually very large. Most of our big cats do live alone because all wild cat species, with the exception to lions, are solitary animals and have territorial issues. Please watch these videos and learn a bit more about our sanctuary.

Does big cat color vision differ from that of small cats? If their vision is about the same, red toys and green toys are both going to look like dark muddy yellow to them. Blue or bright yellow toys, on the other hand, would be guaranteed to pop out of the background of the leafy floor.
What kind of cat is that at the :44 second mark? Is it native to Florida? I've never seen one like it.
+Themeparkfanatic That is Tonga a leucistic African serval. bigcatrescue.org/tonga/
+Big Cat Rescue Daawww what a cutie
pause at 02:02 do you see central spots on the leopard?
What will u do if u rescued a big cat but don't have a encloser(bad grammar)Yet for that cat?
+Musical Lotus We do not rescue big cats we do not have room for. That is one way sanctuaries fail.
Big Cat Rescue, I said something on Facebook about a serval jumping in someone's home, I said that it's a wild cat and it should be living in someone's home and now they won't stop arguing about me saying that. What should I do?
+Anna2442002 Just leave it alone. There is not much you can do, and you spoke your opinion.
Just trying to be famous? -_-
I'm curious.. What is the general opinion of zoos? In particular the San Diego Zoo.. They have a cheetah program where they bond them with dogs.. do cheetah runs. I mean their intention is to bring awareness to cheetahs but isn't it a double ended sword? It's bringing awareness but is also showing cheetahs walking around on leashes and will put the idea into people's heads that hey they might be a great pet. If you could just comment on zoos in general that would be amazing. I know you won't answer to specific questions about a certain zoo to avoid problems. So, what is the general opinion of zoos? Are they regarded as 'better' if they don't interact with the animals, have as close to natural environments as possible, and also rescue their animals instead of buying them from other zoos or breeders? Thanks!
+chemha55 We prefer zoos that are AZA accredited because they have higher standard for their animals. Although you are right, handling animals, such as a cheetah, does give people the wrong idea of the dangers of owning a big cat.
What type of cat is the white one? So pretty.
ruclips.net/video/tXHlQdFo6hk/видео.html
The perfume isn't toxic to the cats?
+Raea Bach We do not spray very much, and they do not ingest it. They just really enjoy the smell of it.
kittens T-T
What happened to the tiger's tail? 2:21
+lansing street blues ruclips.net/video/UvaPjse1z24/видео.html
A lion bit it off before she was rescued
Big Cat Rescue Thank you for the reply. Much respect for you folks!
Hi big cat rescue i have 1 question when you put the toys in the cats enclosures or surprises in the cats enclosure how do you go in with out getting attacked?
Their enclosures have multiple sections. We never go in with a cat. That is dangerous. They are locked into a different section of their enclosure while we put the toys/enrichment in or make needed repairs.
@@bigcatrescue oh ty big cat rescue for saving 100+ big cats
The seventh
Wonderful job!! Btw firsrt comment.
Крутое видео)) Жду в гости!
do all the big cats have roommates in there encloser
I think Joseph the lion is on his own
Not all
kk
+Belle Colton BCR has stated that most of the cats that share an enclosure were rescued together, and they do everything in their power to keep those cats together unless it's clear that they'd rather be alone.
Where are the cheetahs ? Make a Video with cheetahs please?👍🏻
+Ahmed Sever We do not have any cheetahs.
I'm early! 😊
