I’m atheist, but to me he sounds like a cult leader. From what I’ve read of the Bible, he takes everything from men on purpose, expects them to still love him and blames it on the devil? And if you don’t believe then you suffer terrible consciences? Yeah, sounds like a cool dude.
But something fictional deserves zero worship.
If there is no God then the only thing fictional is whatever enters YOUR brain. After all, you are then nothing but an accident and your thoughts are nothing but the result of random chance interactions. You cannot make sense of anything outside of God.
Sorry but you're wrong Jesus never asked us to worship him. He said to worship the one who sent him.

Funny how they always gloss over that fact.
Furthermore, why would an omnipotent, all powerful being care even in the slightest of the worship from a creature as lowly as us? Sounds far more like the hubris of man to me.
God is not hatred God is love. People choose to believe things that are not true. He wants worship from us so we can show gratitude for everything he has done for us. He gave us life and died on the cross for all of our sins. We are free from our sins and in exchange we received the greatest gift of all: his love, his mercy, and salvation.
