We love rudbeckia around here, too. So very summer for us.

I planted a lot of black eyed susans this year, both from seed (I did a whole packet so I probably have a dozen clumps of them planted out) and some I got from a woman who was dividing her perennials so they're all over our garden now. The ones I got from another gardener look like yours but they're still small this year--only one or two flowers per plant. It would be nice if they all filled in next year like the ones you showed! We might have too many at that point but it would create a nice drift.

I totally agree. Hope they are doing good as the summer season keeps going. All the best and thank you for your support and comments CEJanuary 😊

...and who told you that God didn't answer? He knows what you are going through, he listened and the answer, given, is on its way...
