- If you haven't seen my earlier community post, the last 2 months have been spent in LA interning for a company called Hollywood Scoring. It was wild, I got to see recording sessions in Sony and Warner Bros, met some extremely experienced composers and musicians. And for this piece, I got to run a session with a string quartet!

A big thanks to Noah, Adam, and Micheal Patti for everything they've taught me for the last 2 months. I hope to apply what I've learned and continue to improve as a composer. For real, you guys were friggen awesome and what I got to saw was beyond cool.

Hyper potions is like one of my favorite producers and you come out here with an orchestration of one of my fav music of theirs. I'm in heaven.

She awoke, and in a small misguided hope, she looked outside to see where she was. Once again, ocean skies split apart by sea foam clouds greeted her. She sighed, and turned away from the view to the maze of papers hanging from the ceiling in front of her.
She skimmed through bits and pieces of the few twisted memories she knew by heart, mouthing the scribbles on the pages. Refreshing every theory and idea conceivable to explain where she was, and how to get out and get back.
_Where_ to get back however, was still a mystery.
Unconsciously, she reached for the popsicle waiting for her on her nightstand. She still had yet to feel any hunger here, as did everyone else.
The wrapper was quickly discarded, and she mechanically took a bite. Flavor exploded monotonously in her mouth, fading and coming alive in unchanging routine. Sweet Winter Crystals melting in Spring Pleasure before shifting between the two in a predictable pattern.
She figured she had a week at most before she would start to gag at the flavors. She wondered if it would ever change before she finally got tired of it all and offed herself like some of the others a few weeks after they woke up here. The more she thought about it, the more convincing it was to leave everything behind.
If you told who she once was that she was seriously considering dying because of a popsicle flavor, she would’ve laughed, and think about only it the rest of her day. Quite possibly stretching into the day afterwards.
Not to be cliche, but she isn’t who she once was. (Memory loss and being taken away from home can do that to you.)
She couldn’t remember much, couldn’t seem to place why a gaping emptiness made its home in her chest, never letting her mind stray far from its presence. But she knew some things. She knew there was once a time and place where she felt whole and safe. She once had it, she once lived it, and she longed live it again.
The same couldn’t be said for the others trapped here. Almost everyone here was content with staying in a comfortable oblivion. She didn’t blame them in the slightest, but frustration still grew inside her whenever she thought about it.
And they all had to make it harder by not ignoring her. Instead, they insisted on being decent people and checking in on her and wanting her to survive. (They didn’t dare tell her to move on. Only inviting her to outings and celebrations to be had.)
Still, it was absolutely inconsiderate of them to be good people.
She rubbed her face, groaning before throwing herself back onto the bed, her arm over her eyes.
Maybe she was crazy. Insanity always seemed to be the cause for almost half of every problem. (She could be a bit off on the math.) Crazy people were dismissed easily, and could potentially have less people checking in on her. (Or more, but she was feeling more optimistic.)
Though, crazy or not, nothing could change the ache in her chest longing for where they came from.
She would go back to where they were before, and bring anyone else who wants to with her. She had to. She would never stop searching for the place she once belonged, the place that had filled an emptiness inside her she didn’t know was there.
If she couldn’t, what was there left for her?
(A/N: im so tired. im really not lucid enough to be writing but here I am anyways. will probably fix a lot in the morning. now i sleep and hope I don’t die tomorrow (today?) EDIT: I’ve fixed some parts and made it flow a bit better at some parts)
AND THEN, TWO SHIBA INUS APPEARED OUT OF NOWHERE AND TOOK HER ICE CREAM.
SHE STARED AT THE ONE WEARING WHAT SEEMED TO BE A BLACK BEANIE FOR A SECOND BEFORE YELLING
"HEY?!"
THE SECOND SHIBA INU SWALLOWED THE POPSICLE WHOLE AND WENT
"ARF"
Then they fell asleep...
Rush Garcia 10/10 addition. Absolutely amazing work of art. Made me feel more emotion than I have in all my miserable life. Did not expect to be graced with such writing talent after blacking out.

This one was one of your works that hit me especially hard. When I went to high school I would have a 3 mile walk home and I would always have my music playing with this song in my playlist. Everytime I would walk home in the spring or summer time, since I live in California as well as the fact that I cant stand the heat, it would always feel like 100 degrees but this song would always mental calm and cool me down. In short every single one the songs you make a cover of have an amazing affect on a large group of people that have a connection to it, I hope you keep making orchestrations and really hope you know that everyone loves your works 😁👍

Sometimes it's relaxing, other times heart-pounding.
But overall, it's simply mesmerizing.
Please never stop making this music! It's gentle yet exciting and I can't get enough of the wonderful mix of instruments. I hope this will continue for a long time! >

What my life feels like now. Exuberant excitement for future plans. Family dynamics and friendships improving. Spirituality, nature, art and music, cultural elements all fitting together in local communities. It will be an entirely new life by 2024 for sure.

_She nibbles on the sea salt ice cream, prepared for yet another day in the town she’d lived in her whole life... As she nibbled on it she saw a school of fish pass by her though she didn’t find it strange, after all she was told that her imagination was too overpowering..._
_She finished eating her ice cream and looked around the room. She saw fish, bubbles, and even a bunch of coral on the wall! She smiled as she wrote all this down in her notebook, it being almost filled to the brim with her daydreams..._
_”It must be nice to live in the ocean, you don’t have to do any school... It’s just swimming and living...” She thought as she tossed the stick into the trash and grabbed her backpack, she had a long day ahead of her... As she left the house she could smell the ocean and the fish began to follow her. “It’s like having my own personal escort!” She giggled with the thought and kept moving._
_As she walked she saw someone else from her school. She waved at them but they just looked down and walked faster. They didn’t want to be seen talking to the weird girl after all..._
_”Must not be very social... Oh well!” She kept walking with her fish, thankful that they were there to keep her company. Her walk slowly became a skip as she forgot about what the world thought about her and only remembered what she thought about herself... “If the world thinks I’m crazy so what? They probably don’t have a school of fish escorting them to school.”_
_As she arrived she slowed down to avoid hitting anyone. She got strange looks as she passed but she didn’t care, the world could take a hike. She tightened her backpack and mentally prepared for another school day... “Just remember, school is actually really easy... Yeah, really easy...”_
_With one deep breath she entered the building, hoping that bullying was at a minimum today..._

Rush did a fantastic job with this song and I wanted to thank her (I believe Rush is girl?) for the awesome arrangement! I've only just found this today - and wow is it gorgeous! Not only do I love this channel, but I have to say in my most humble opinion that anything Hyper Potions touches is just pure gold. I'd love to have that ability to make people tap their feet to the beat, or to have the listener be able to feel any emotion that I had in mind whilst composing part of a song. I tip my hat to you, it is an incredible feat.
