Had heavy static day before and like you said silent day and after just wired up my repaired grant lt uniden surprised me it is so much quieter recver than my galaxy 99v2 and that is pretty darn good
@@mikesey1 problem w the grant is it has the 2 switch channel mod and at pre Sent I can't find the map it's been 8+ years since in storage no freq counter on it may have to power galaxy ) 99v2 with dummy or RF turned back and chart the switches

SSB of course. You would be hard put to find any modern CB radio using SSB. My Yaesu 897D can do it, but it's not a purpose built CB radio.
