In dangerous and tense atmosphere during the arrest of Jesus. People were fleeting for their lives. Today we have the Gospel of Mark begins by calling Jesus the Son of God and reaffirms the title twice when a voice from Heaven calls Jesus “my Son” in Mark 1:11 and Mark 9:7. Mark is known as Peter’s interpreter and wrote down the observations and memories of Peter ( who denied Jesus three times).
Wow, I always wonder who is the young guy run nakedly when Jesus caught in the gethsemane, now only I know that was St Mark... and all the while I thought St Mark was one of Jesus' disciples.
Mark 12:10 "Have you not even read this Scripture: 'The stone which the builders rejected Has become the chief cornerstone. This was the Lord's doing, And it is marvelous in our eye's'?"
I saw him during meditation. It was like a dream, first I saw was a big book then it opened and there was a word MARK written on it. The book fades and I saw an old dude in blue and red staring at me can't clearly see his face though. I ask him if he was my guardian angel but he didn't answer and just disappeared. Then I saw some sort of brown dog running across as I look closely it was really a lion. It suddenly jumped and to my surprise it spread its wings. I watched it circling me and it suddenly swoops down right in front of my face then I woke up. I Googled up mark and lion and what I saw was very surprising. The book, the old man, the winged lion? It's a match.
Problem... Why didn't the so-called Gospel Mark stated Jesus send the 2 disciples to the house of Mark or John Mark.... Instead the gospel stated that Jesus send the disciple to the good man of the house (Mark 14:12-17 KJV).... Unlike in the So-called gospel of matthew where the name matthew was mentioned or matthew the publican (Matthew 10:3 KJV)
Am I the only one who thinks they are watching a Godzilla movie? Words and lips are not moving at the same time. Pastor, interesting to find out that there was some discontent in Apostle Posse. I know you say it doesn't tell us why Mark departed the group, but then when they try to join up again at Barnabus urging, Paul says NO WAY! I know its theory, but sounds plausible they were not in harmony. But they did reconcile at some point and continue on the Great Commission. A lesson to us all.

Why do you think Peter was ever in Rome? I don't know of any real evidence of that, just Roman tradition.
