I think the fact that manga goku didn’t absorb god into base actually makes the series more enjoyable from a power scaling perspective. It makes it less disgusting that new characters from other universes just happen to be THAT STRONG as they show up *cough cough* u6 saiyans *cough*
Yeah to be honest, this power scaling mentality of stronger/bigger = better makes the anime very non-sensical and worse as a story IMO. Made worse by some fans taking exaggerations like Pre-Super Perfect Cell being Universe level and not solar system level at face value. Clearly not the case. The Manga changing the course of things away from raw power with its handlint UI is great too.
@@rcbmmines4579there's like 5 people in total who think Cell is a Universe buster. Although Xenoverse Cell has some forms that could be Universal and above not counting the DLC or 2, but cannon Cell Super Perfect Cell to be specific, is a Solar System buster. Anything lower or higher is asinine.
@@CerealExperimentsMizuki Agreed, never even heard it suggested before this guy in this video did when it comes to the anime, never mind the anime contradicts it later by adapting the statement from the Manga. But also, man I think some DB fans really don’t have any idea how HUGE of a difference a solar system is from a galaxy. Much less a galaxy cluster. Much less an entire “universe”.
@johnman8398 How is it hypocritical? With all due respect, do you know what that even means? If you consistently don't want Base Goku to suddenly be universal level and thereby making all his forms universal plus and making his newer divine ones make less sense (if SSB is just SSG + SS1, why is it necessary if Base = SSG and Goku can still do SS1), which also heavily inflates the scaling of many characters no matter what form Goku takes (including both returning and new characters in both tournament arcs), then I don't see how that's hypocritical in anyway. There's a huge, HUGE gap between solar system and galaxy level. Let alone super galaxy clusters, let alone universe level. Only divine characters or those who trained with angels/gods of destruction should be that powerful. Which the Manga does for the most part (admittedly there's still some dumb exceptions). I also don't see how liking how the Manga does things means you don't like DB scaling lol. It's a lot more consistent and reasonable. Also, something I alluded to in my comment above, leaning into Ultra Instinct giving you ultimate martial skill in being able to automatically attack and defend with the right moves at the right precision and timing, instead of just another power up, also feels like a better evolution and pay off to DB as a whole.
The only real chance I think Super's manga Goku even remotely has of closing the power gap is Dende's statement claiming that Goku's base form has hit the level of the gods during the Moro Arc. That said the statement is super vague, and Zamasu already said Goku and Vegeta surpass most of the gods in the anime's Goku Black arc.
There is a promotional manga that shows Goku fighting freeza in res f drawn by toyotaro which is canon to the manga and it shows the ssg god Goku above base Goku while he's fighting for more info look up divine scaling manga Goku
@@retardedaxel Divine really ain’t the best source bud. He high balls and twist statements out of context lol. He’s some 18 year old kid who really ain’t been around long enough to be reliable for anything. The manga and anime have often contradicted him.
Surpass most of the Gods in the Zamasu arc? Bro I don't know about that claim there, if that was said it would be made a huge deal in the fanbase and I dont remember nobody talking about this 😂
@@adoniscreed4031 I'm assuming Kaioshins, the four quadrant Kai's of each universe, and planet's guardians were the main reference to that statement, not so much gods of destruction but it is said by Zamasu.
For those wondering the reason this isn't "who is the strongest goku" is because it's is 100% xeno goku as he can be calculated at around fifth dimential because he defeated god demon demigra who can trancend space-time, he did this in his base form and can go up to ssj4
@@ferane287Yes he did. They had a whole thing where both Xeno LB SSJ4 and CC UI does a final punch and stand there before limit breaker SSJ4 Goku falls unconscious. Edit: in the promotional anime.
Xeno goku scales way higher than 5D considering end of z (lowball) is already scaled to hyperversal due to surpassing every god, mortal (including black frieza), and he surpasses arale too who if you lowball can have 5-7D feats even further for arale if you’ve watched one of akiras other shows which is canon to the db verse, arale has crazy feats and toriyama puts end of z goku above arale. Id be okay if you lowball xeno goku to 7D instead of 5D.
I’m pretty sure those statements about Cell and Buu destroying the universe weren’t saying they would do so with a single attack. Feats like Cell’s Kamehameha and Buuhan’s scream have an explicit capacity for destruction, but the other statements on them aren’t explicit at all. In fact, iirc in the anime they described Kid Buu going from planet to planet blowing things up as “starting to destroy the universe”, which lines up their powers pretty well with their manga counterparts
@Toddles Goku literally stated, he'd make the universe go poof. Just like that gang, Gohan absorbed buu was threatening to rip apart the universe with alternate dimensions stated by vegito and the kais. And kid buu is heavily debated to be stronger due to statements, there's no way with all that evidence you think he can't destroy the universe 💀
Also, worth noting is MUI is a much better form in anime. It never was said or shown to degrade as you lose focus, and in fact said to constantly be growing Gokus power and speed when used against Jiren, while his movements only got sharper. Also Goku can use his rage boost while in MUI in anime, which is something he can't seemingly do in the manga, hence TUI. So it might get retconned when Super returns to match the manga, but for now anime MUI > manga MUI
That’s false for many reasons. Anime Goku didn’t adapt in Ultra Instinct, how’s the anime better? I don’t remember Manga Goku getting paralyzed from using MUI way too long in the manga where in the anime it was painful. I ALSO don’t remember Goku being able to stack UI on transformations in the anime like he did in the manga. If anything the manga handled UI ALOT better than the anime did.
@@firionkaiser8291 Yeah, especially when you compare how the anime and manga drops out of the form and how UI is a techniques stacked with forms in the manga aswell has enhanced durability.
@@SonZackSSJ9kYour comment makes no sense and is false for many reasons as well. I don’t remember anime goku not being able to express emotions as well as getting angry when in tense moments. I don’t remember anime goku having a way shorter time limit then manga goku until the Moro arc. I don’t remember anime goku not being able to defeat base jiren. IF ANYTHING the manga did mui goku worse until later arcs while the anime did it better. Also your point is irrelevant because your using Mui goku from other arcs in the manga while anime mui goku was only in the tournament of power so your basically making an unfair argument but either way it doesn’t matter cause everyone can agree mui goku was done better in the anime. The only thing the manga has over it is the Lore and depth
This is pretty interesting as I didn't even think about anime and manga Goku being different characters until the Dragon Ball Super Manga. The first thing that comes to mind is canon Goku vs movie Goku vs video game Goku but that's a whole video in and of itself.
I always assumed that the whole no Zenkai boosts thing also applied to the anime and the increases in power during the tournament of power was less zenkai boosts and just the sayains being incredibly adept and improving in real time
So the moon busting feats in Z aren't as important as you explain, in the 2nd arc of dragonball jackie chun blows up the moon after already using alot of energy and still is able to fight goku and goku scales to that jackie chun
The poof statement is not a mistranslation. The one pictured below is from Herms, one of the most accurate translators in the community. One could just say Goku is exaggerating, though.
6:34 it is not a mistranslation, the japanese says the same, Viz isn't good I admit it but this time it is true, also buutenks was too stated to be able to destroy the universe By the way, I was also thinking about this matchup today and came to similar conclusions, nice video
5:30 You're using outdated and inconsistent statements and guides that weren't even written or approved by Toriyama. These hyperbole statements can't really be taken seriously because both the anime and manga contradict them. Cell only becomes a solar system buster once he comes back in his Super Perfect state and it's made clear that his power caps there. He's nowhere near a single fraction of universe level power and neither is Goku by extension. Besides, even if these statements were meant to be taken in the most hyperliteral meanings as possible they would also have to be applied to the manga since the anime at that point was just an adaptation of the manga so they're the same stories.
Facts. Hes only a threat to the universe because like frieza hes now the strongest mortal by quite a bit and nobody could stop him if he beat the z fighters.
As a Side note I noticed while rereading the universe 6 tournament and Goku black arcs, it is also clear that the multiplier of ssb is greater in the anime than the manga as the manga portrays it as less than 10 times stronger with perfected blue being not even a boost and just Goku being able to use his blue always at full power, so Idk why a lot of people think this version of blue is insanely op
That dumb since self explosion in dragon ball usually aren't that big majin vegeta is above planetary yet his final explosion doesn't traveling to far.
The manga generally has better feats like Goku Black being able to keep up with SSG Vegeta in Super Saiyan, Jiren pushing Goku into achieving ultra instinct through sheer battle rather than the spirit bomb, Gohan being able to fight and stalemate Kefla in battle, ect. Not to mention the later stuff with Goku mastering UI and perfecting new versions of it. Anime Goku caps at 6D but I think it's safe to say Manga Goku is 7 to 8D with some evidence of outerversal but it depends on how you scale him.
I honestly don't like the fact Gohan fought Kefla... It made her look so much weaker. Not trying to undermine Gohan, but at this point in the history, it just doesn't feel right for him to tie with Kefla. That being said, wasn't Anime Goku Black tanking attacks from Vegeta Blue while in base? And didn't Goku almost beat Jiren in the anime?
Nope Manga and Anime Goku are low balled 4D and highballed 6D at best. With some wanking on unreliable sources you can get goku to Infinite D but thats inaccurate.
One thing that you didnt mention that could give manga Goku some credit is his mastered SSB form since its multiplier is crazy. Goku in his normal blue was about Goku Rose level and when he mastered it he was able to match fused Zamasu in his ultra Trunks-like beefed up form. This is insane since potara is a A x B multiplier so the mastered versions multiplier ended up being the same as Zamasu's power level. Future Zamasu in the manga was a lot weaker than his anime counterpart being probably around kid Buu level if we are being generous (super Goku said he would only need SSJ1 to beat Kid Buu and Goku felt that his super saiyan form was more than enough to keep the unkillable Zamasu busy). We dont know what power level Buu is at but the highest one we saw was namek Goku's 150000000 so the multiplier for mastered blue is immensely higher than that number (I could guesstimate but this comment has gone on long enough). On the other hand ToP anime Goku surpassed anime SSB Vegito from the previous arc which is more impressive since that doesnt include UI.
Feel like you failed to mention some feats for manga Goku, like him being able to keep up with granolah is an insane speed feat in itself. cause Goku said himself Granolah was faster than instant transmission
Agreed for the most part, but I disagree with base Goku ever surpassing his SSB form, let alone it happening multiple times. Also it’s never confirmed Goku’s base became SSG level, just his ssj form. Though his base form could have surpassed that later.
Right in the last portion of his fight with Beerus. Goku oneshotted a Power Ball that his Super Saiyan form failed to even push back. So yeah, it's confirmed lmao
@@thienvan8614 I'm aware of that scene, it confirms nothing. It was just Goku not giving up and giving the last amount of his energy to finally destabilize the blast. If Goku's base really reached his SSG level, he wouldn't have accepted defeat there. He would have asked for a senzu bean or rest, as he would be 400x stronger all of a sudden with super saiyan 3. He knows Beerus wants a challenge, so he wouldn't let his planet get blown up in that scenario. The only logical explanation is that Goku used all of his power, and what we saw his his MAX power, even if he healed again.
@@venture7486 Goku was already fighting back and pushing into the blast. He just ran so low on stamina he dropped out of ssj. You are claiming he got so tired that he went down a form but got stronger, so I could ask you the same question. Also there is no evidence Goku got 50x weaker. The 50x multiplier is from the super exciting guide, not the manga, and there is no proof ssj always is a 50x difference. If Goku could have gone ssj2 or 3 in his fight against Beerus to get multiple times stronger he would have, so clearly something was different about Goku's power in that fight after experiencing god for the first time.
@@weeaboo-warrior Yeah, and dropping out of SSJ made him weaker, so there's no way that he'd be able to nullify a ki wave that his powered up form was itself struggling to resist unless he himself got stronger than what he was a few seconds ago, which is totally consistent with how Saiyans work. Plus, the fact that Goku literally had a speech about breaking limits, as well. The 50x multiplier is also in the daizenshuu, and Akira Toriyama also confirmed it himself. You morons really confirm the allegations that DB manga don't even read or keep up with their own damn franchise.
Great video,Anime Goku is clearly levels ahead of the Manga counterpart except i don’t think the Beerus part is the reason because if the anime continues you know they are just going to bypass those statements and have Goku still under Beerus for sure, and the Manga statement about them not getting Zenkais is the equivalent of Anime U6 Tourney Vegeta stating he’s nearly at the limit of his strength, its simply not true, but otherwise Anime Goku stomps probably even current Manga MUI Goku, even their Ultra Instincts differ as in the Anime Goku can definitely use rage to boost himself when in UI and in MUI but in the manga he needed a lesser UI through TUI to do that even 3 Arcs later.
Or just throw a ki blast in the air and when he dies, it hits him bringing him back, just like he did in his battle with hit before the tournament of power lmao
### Scenario: Manga Goku vs. Anime Goku **Location**: An otherworldly arena created by the gods, floating in a void of stars and galaxies. The environment is vast, with floating platforms, rocky terrains, and an endless sky, providing ample space for an epic battle. ### Initial Encounter Manga Goku and Anime Goku stare each other down, both aware of the immense power they each hold. Their auras flare up, shaking the very fabric of the arena as they prepare to engage in combat. ### The Battle Begins **Round 1: Testing Strengths** The two Gokus charge at each other, fists clashing with such force that shockwaves ripple through the void. They test each other’s physical strength and speed, exchanging blows at lightning speed. The clash is evenly matched, with neither gaining a clear advantage. **Manga Goku** uses strategic moves, exploiting openings and utilizing precise attacks. His martial arts skills and strategic thinking are evident as he tries to find weaknesses in his anime counterpart. **Anime Goku**, on the other hand, relies on his raw power and high-impact attacks. His strikes are powerful and relentless, showcasing the spectacular feats seen in the anime. ### Power-Up **Round 2: Super Saiyan Transformations** Both Gokus transform into their Super Saiyan forms, their power levels skyrocketing. The battle becomes even more intense, with both fighters moving at incredible speeds and exchanging powerful energy blasts. **Manga Goku** demonstrates his mastery of Super Saiyan God and Super Saiyan Blue, switching between forms to optimize his energy use and attack strategies. His control over his transformations is precise, allowing him to maintain his stamina. **Anime Goku** pushes his limits, transforming into Super Saiyan Blue and even showcasing the more dramatic Kaio-Ken x20 combined with Super Saiyan Blue. The explosive power of his attacks creates massive craters in the floating platforms, adding to the battle's intensity. ### The Ultimate Techniques **Round 3: Ultra Instinct** Both Gokus tap into Ultra Instinct, their appearances changing as their hair turns silver and their auras become ethereal. Their movements are now almost impossible to track, as they dodge and counter each other’s attacks with perfect precision. **Manga Goku** uses Ultra Instinct Sign and Perfected Ultra Instinct with strategic efficiency, dodging attacks effortlessly and countering with devastating precision. His control over this form is evident, showcasing the depth of his training. **Anime Goku**, with his dramatic portrayal of Ultra Instinct, unleashes powerful, high-impact attacks. His movements are fluid and instinctual, with each strike carrying immense power. The spectacle of his form is breathtaking, creating a visual display of energy and power. ### The Final Clash **Round 4: The Decisive Moment** Both Gokus, now pushed to their absolute limits, prepare their ultimate attacks. **Manga Goku** charges a powerful Kamehameha, channeling all his remaining energy into the attack. **Anime Goku** counters with a Kaio-Ken x20 Kamehameha, his aura blazing with red and blue energy. The two beams collide, creating a massive explosion of energy that engulfs the entire arena. The shockwave is felt across the void, and the energy sphere at the point of collision expands, threatening to consume everything. ### Conclusion As the dust settles, only one Goku stands victorious. **Outcome**: **Manga Goku** emerges as the winner. ### Reasoning - **Energy Efficiency**: Manga Goku’s mastery of Ultra Instinct Sign and Perfected Ultra Instinct allows him to conserve energy and maintain his form longer than Anime Goku, who relies on the more explosive and energy-draining Kaio-Ken technique. - **Strategic Combat**: Manga Goku’s strategic use of his transformations and abilities gives him an edge in exploiting openings and countering his opponent's attacks. - **Consistency**: Manga Goku’s power scaling is more consistent, allowing him to maintain a high level of performance throughout the battle. ### Estimated Outcomes - **Manga Goku's Victories**: 60 out of 100 times - Manga Goku’s strategic use of Ultra Instinct and energy management gives him a slight edge. - **Anime Goku's Victories**: 40 out of 100 times - Anime Goku’s high-impact and visually spectacular feats make him a formidable opponent, capable of turning the tide with raw power and dramatic transformations. This scenario reflects the strengths and abilities of both versions of Goku, highlighting their unique approaches to battle and ultimate techniques.
9:25 those aren’t zenkais, that’s combat adaptation which literally every character has and thanks to CSSJB manga Goku’s power is Blue x100 xBlue which is a far greater multiplier than anything anime Goku has, and the Granolah arc gives Manga Goku massively better speed feats, and Goku and Vegeta’s base power with a Gamma Burst Flash and Kamehameha was able to completely change the color of the world of void

Also anime power levels extrapolations are null and void in db and dbz, the manga source material takes precedence over the anime. And idk why people always reference guides toriyama didn't write they're not valid. If cell was universal the battle of gods gokus power level wouldn't be impressive that's clear evidence that the guidebook extrapolations and anime powerlevels aren't valid.
9:15 it might be a thing in the anime too vegeta states how jiren wasn't stronger than them by much but how he used his energy efficiently and they elude to their bodies having reached its peak and needing to learn how to properly output it but this might just be a mega stretch and not true
The movie continuity is its own separate issue as the movie is what toriyama himself considered Canon. The movies are the closest thing to what toriyama actually wanted which is, having goku and vegeta being as strong as a God of destruction if they were to fight together. Their body is already at its limits and they just need to sharpen their fighting style The manga, anime, and movie of super have their own Canoncity
That's so cap goku has done more than goku, even getting orange gi and fighting Vegeta. I am so mad im going to post on Twitter about how goku beats goku because goku solos goku all day.
Goku Black in the manga literally bodies SSB Vegeta in his normal SSJ, then after Vegeta trains in the Chamber (Mind you, just because they can't get zenakai anymore doesn't mean they can't still get stronger with pure training and battles, as seen in Moro and Granolah arc) he grew strong enough to overpowered a stronger Goku Black with his Rose stacked on his already god level strength Base in his Blue form. So this video is just wrong, sorry, but it just is.
Technically there are manga feats that aren't...bad. Goku and Vegeta light up the World of Void in base (shown in the colored manga), Perfect Blue and MUI are cemented as potara level amps, Moro was gonna destroy the universe (according to Herms galaxy is a mistranslation), etc Meanwhile the anime's breaking dimensions and blowing up timelines (could argue Jiren scales cause he's > infinite Zamasu and Goku said he could beat him with a Senzu) and has absurdly higher amps. Also for all actual material in the manga it's pretty clear Goku did cliff Beerus, but then Beerus got stronger too and now the manga's giving both statements. The narrative is gooning Beerus but that's irrelevant.
for the cell saga it was and never stated cell would destroy the universe in one attack, hes a threat to the universe not a universe buster. cell has an infinite lifespan so its probably saying that he would destroy the universe over time not instantly.
I'd like to quickly mention the fact that the ones who say Jiren and Goku "shook the void" are Roshi and Android 18, meaning the feat doesn't come from a reliable source and cannot be taken as fact. Remember the battle of gods arc? When Vegeta got angry and went Ssj 2, he did become more powerful than Ssj 3 Goku for a period of time due to his rage boosts, that's an example of a lower form becoming more powerful than the higher form
@RackerTheRascalMashup woah, but that's with a catalyst like rage. If ssj3 goku was in the same rage mindset, he'd be far stronger than vegeta ever was in that situation

@@kiot7042 buddy, the forms are a multiplier to base power meaning even if you have a stronger form, someone can be stronger than you if they have a stronger base. As soon as they explained how in the manga MUI your supposed to be in a calm state, I got so perplexed because Anime Goku seemed livid asf. Unless Goku completely perfected UI in that final fight, able to utilize his emotions to the fullest. Anime Goku built different.
Exactly, and his fight with Jiren only proves it even more. Remember when Goku was about to finish off Jiren, but the toll MUI was too high and his whole body just imploded? That has NEVER happened to Manga Goku, not even in the latest chapter with Beast Gohan. Like, how do you *overdose* on Ultra Instinct? Unless Anime Goku was at such a high-level, far above the gods that his body couldn't handle the limit-breaking power. And he was doing all this WHILE expressing deep emotions, unbothered by the "calm mind" that was taught to Manga Goku. Bro and lets not get into all the zenkais goku & vegeta got, that arc in the anime was nuts bro even Anime Goku Black got crazy strong @@dimensionvisitor7689
Amazing video but I think you messed up a little on the manga super section. Mainly the inverse scaling, Manga is very strong not on the level of anime Goku but too far off. Goku and Vegeta get a SSG level increase to their bases in the black after their confrontation, Goku black in ssj 2 was able to overpower ssb Vegeta. Later Goku and Vegeta throw hands with SSR black, which should be a ssb level transformation. Ssb perfected is a fusion level increase on base blue, clearly evident by Goku fighting off fusion zamasu that was possibly using SSR himself (not confirmed). All in all, manga Goku is definitely comparable to his anime counterpart.
You also have other things like the multipliers of the forms being different. As not only does God not have any of the Fusion or “Strongest Warrior” statements to give a gauge on a multiplier (like the anime), but SSJB is heavily inferred to be a 5x amp off of God. As opposed to the anime, which more so displayed it at least a 50x boost or more, based off Goku’s fight with Kefla. And even Perfected Blue, might only be around a 2x-Blue squared level amp. Lack of info to properly gauge the strength of Blue Evolution as well
@@extremelegendsupreme4596 during the manga version of the Champa tournament. Whis explains that SSJB drops in power after consecutive use. And that if one uses two times back to back, then the power of the form drops to less than 10%. But as we see, and Beerus points out, God Goku is stronger than this weakened SSJB Vegeta. If we round up Whis’ statement to say that SSJB Vegeta is at 10% power. Then that would mean that God Goku is above that by some amount. Meaning at his lowest, he’s at 2/10, or 1/5 as powerful as weakened SSJB Vegeta. So there’s at least a 5x increase for the manga versions. And Beerus does somewhat back this, as he says that SSJB is just a “mere power-up of SSJ God.” As for Perfected Blue. Toyotaro explained in an interview, Toriyama intended for Fused Zamasu to be the strength of two of SSJBs. We saw him dominate both SSJB Goku and Vegeta, but then we PSSJB Goku on his level. And even fatigued SSJB Vegeta can obliterate two Fused Zamasu’s with his Gamma Burst Flash. So the form is most likely a 2x increase from regular SSJB. But if ya really want to high ball Toyotaro’s words. Than it might be SSJB-squared. But that doesn’t really work that well, because of the Vegeta feat I brought up, and Toyotaro just stays that he wasn’t that strong in Toriyama’s draft, although that could’ve been changed. If you want to see for yourself. Than 13 has Whis and Beerus explaining SSJB. And in chapter 27, Beerus calls the form “mere”. The Toyotaro interview is something you can find in chapter 24/volume 4. As for the anime. We do just see Base Kefla bully God Goku. But then she goes into her Berserker SSJ form (which is likely greater than 50x), and SSJB Goku is relative to her. So he got a similar if not greater amp
I agree mostly with the super section. Kid buu is not stronger than even base superbuu however. They merely said he is more DANGEROUS because he was more destructive and mindless. Goku even said he himself wouldn't be able to fight super buu, but gohan who surpassed him at the time could. He was utterly doomed when he ate gohan which is why he desperately looked for a fusion partner.
9:00 People over look this, Manga Goku never absorbed God Ki in his Fight with Beerus, he literally does it in the future arcs which was shown in the RoF Promotion Mini Manga and in the Moro Arc where Dende sensed Goku’s God Ki in Base. Besides you can’t expect the Manga to show more detail especially since it originally wasn’t gonna continue after BoG since it was meant to promote the Anime at the time, especially when you compare the visibility of the shockwaves that were shown in the arc, the Manga had more bigger Shockwaves, just didn’t show any planets because it wasn’t meant to be that epic in a promotion manga. And the Jiren thing literally gets mentioned in the Super Hero movie too so both anime and manga slandered themselves in that way. Should I also remind you that Manga Goku not only has he Perfected Blue unlike Anime Goku, but literally did that after Manga Vegito defused and was on par with Zamasu. The Broly Movie (atleast the fight) happens in both continuities and at that point I just assume the scaling became equal for the Anime and Manga (except Manga Goku being ahead since he perfected blue unlike Anime Goku.) Edit: Forgot to mention the DBZ Anime Scaling applies to the manga since there’s a literal Guide that states the DBZ Anime is Canon to the DBS Manga too. And Toriyama himself stated that and also stated the DBS Anime and Manga Are Parallels so it shouldn’t change the strength of Hit or Jiren (The Super Hero Movie like i said fixed this issue) in the Anime to the Manga. And anything that works well in the anime works just as much in the Manga, meaning Goku couldn’t have Gone SSJB in the Manga if he didn’t have the SSJG Power in Base. You DBS Manga haters need to quit downplaying or underestimating the Manga and start reading Guidebooks to the manga as much as you do in the Anime. Besides even if Manga Goku didn’t absorb God we see SSJB Vegeta struggling against SSJ Goku Black which proves his Base is SSJ God level just for Vegeta to be dead even with his Rosé form the next round if not surpassing him.

It only makes it more enjoyable if you're a hypocrite or don't like DB scaling as a whole.
That statement applies to a goku who was all the way to the Moro arc. Anime goku was already at that post bog arc.

Also Goku can use his rage boost while in MUI in anime, which is something he can't seemingly do in the manga, hence TUI.

If Goku could have gone ssj2 or 3 in his fight against Beerus to get multiple times stronger he would have, so clearly something was different about Goku's power in that fight after experiencing god for the first time.
@@weeaboo-warrior
Yeah, and dropping out of SSJ made him weaker, so there's no way that he'd be able to nullify a ki wave that his powered up form was itself struggling to resist unless he himself got stronger than what he was a few seconds ago, which is totally consistent with how Saiyans work.

### Scenario: Manga Goku vs. Anime Goku
**Location**: An otherworldly arena created by the gods, floating in a void of stars and galaxies. The environment is vast, with floating platforms, rocky terrains, and an endless sky, providing ample space for an epic battle.
### Initial Encounter
Manga Goku and Anime Goku stare each other down, both aware of the immense power they each hold. Their auras flare up, shaking the very fabric of the arena as they prepare to engage in combat.
### The Battle Begins
**Round 1: Testing Strengths**
The two Gokus charge at each other, fists clashing with such force that shockwaves ripple through the void.
### Power-Up
**Round 2: Super Saiyan Transformations**
Both Gokus transform into their Super Saiyan forms, their power levels skyrocketing.
### The Ultimate Techniques
**Round 3: Ultra Instinct**
Both Gokus tap into Ultra Instinct, their appearances changing as their hair turns silver and their auras become ethereal.
### The Final Clash
**Round 4: The Decisive Moment**
Both Gokus, now pushed to their absolute limits, prepare their ultimate attacks.
### Conclusion
As the dust settles, only one Goku stands victorious.
**Outcome**: **Manga Goku** emerges as the winner.
### Reasoning
- **Energy Efficiency**: Manga Goku’s mastery of Ultra Instinct Sign and Perfected Ultra Instinct allows him to conserve energy and maintain his form longer than Anime Goku, who relies on the more explosive and energy-draining Kaio-Ken technique.
### Estimated Outcomes
- **Manga Goku's Victories**: 60 out of 100 times
- Manga Goku’s strategic use of Ultra Instinct and energy management gives him a slight edge.
- **Anime Goku's Victories**: 40 out of 100 times
- Anime Goku’s high-impact and visually spectacular feats make him a formidable opponent, capable of turning the tide with raw power and dramatic transformations.
This scenario reflects the strengths and abilities of both versions of Goku, highlighting their unique approaches to battle and ultimate techniques.

- 1st form Frieza’s dominance over [likey even SSJ1] Gohan could be used to give a scale to the new Base Goku
- Guides vary on SSGSS and if it’s just the power of a SSG by using SSJ or if it is SSG going SSJ. If considering the latter that could be an additional amp.
There isn’t a video covering these movies so it would fun see what little they do provide.
If it is enough, maybe a RF Goku vs GT Goku could be more equalized… tbd

Also anime power levels extrapolations are null and void in db and dbz, the manga source material takes precedence over the anime. And idk why people always reference guides toriyama didn't write they're not valid. If cell was universal the battle of gods gokus power level wouldn't be impressive that's clear evidence that the guidebook extrapolations and anime powerlevels aren't valid.
The same toriyama said that anime is completely canon and including filler.Toei own rights of dbs.Not even toriyama can go against them.
If the anime never comes back manga will surpass anime Goku
You are literally the most biased dragonball tuber. It’s very clear that goku has better feats statements and drip.
Their body is already at its limits and they just need to sharpen their fighting style
The manga, anime, and movie of super have their own Canoncity
That's so cap goku has done more than goku, even getting orange gi and fighting Vegeta. I am so mad im going to post on Twitter about how goku beats goku because goku solos goku all day.
So what I’m hearing is anime Goku has been universal since the cell sage
Goku Black in the manga literally bodies SSB Vegeta in his normal SSJ, then after Vegeta trains in the Chamber (Mind you, just because they can't get zenakai anymore doesn't mean they can't still get stronger with pure training and battles, as seen in Moro and Granolah arc) he grew strong enough to overpowered a stronger Goku Black with his Rose stacked on his already god level strength Base in his Blue form. So this video is just wrong, sorry, but it just is.
Vegeta gets like 2 different power increases during the TOP that are larger than this lmao
@@lonkstakeslemme guess, Spirit bomb scaling?
"But Goku can beat goku tho?"
Technically there are manga feats that aren't...bad. Goku and Vegeta light up the World of Void in base (shown in the colored manga), Perfect Blue and MUI are cemented as potara level amps, Moro was gonna destroy the universe (according to Herms galaxy is a mistranslation), etc
Meanwhile the anime's breaking dimensions and blowing up timelines (could argue Jiren scales cause he's > infinite Zamasu and Goku said he could beat him with a Senzu) and has absurdly higher amps.
Also for all actual material in the manga it's pretty clear Goku did cliff Beerus, but then Beerus got stronger too and now the manga's giving both statements. The narrative is gooning Beerus but that's irrelevant.
Dosent Broly still break reality tho? (We only get a quick montage so pretty sure he still does it just not shown)
goku anime stronger than manga goku
Ok try this one: Goku Black vs Homelander
Or could Goku Black solo The Boys universe as part of the Zero Mortals plan.
Homelander would lose to Nappa. What kind of match up is this?
Why do you only use the old Z and never Kai for scaling the anime when Kai can be considered the most up to date and accurate interpretation
for the cell saga it was and never stated cell would destroy the universe in one attack, hes a threat to the universe not a universe buster. cell has an infinite lifespan so its probably saying that he would destroy the universe over time not instantly.
Actually cell will still be multi solar to multi galaxy.Solar system are massive nebulas or quasars in dragon ball.At least in anime.
I'd like to quickly mention the fact that the ones who say Jiren and Goku "shook the void" are Roshi and Android 18, meaning the feat doesn't come from a reliable source and cannot be taken as fact. And yes, DB characters can be wrong, Kaioshin called Vegito Blue stronger than Beerus once and look how well that aged.
I suggest you to re-watch those episode because roshi didn't state anything about Goku shaking the world of void it was elder kaioshin that stated that Goku was shaking the world of void (episode 110 min 10:23) and those statements are valid
Those statements are valid and it doesn't matter who stated that, it was stated and backed up with proof
Vegito being above Beerus wasn't contradicted though? Also It Is stated in v-jump which also stated Beerus>Black Frieza but I don't see people Say v-jump Is unreliable when It said that, also roshi didn't Say that, It was Kaioshin

Manga Goku has Hakai. Which almost killed Zamasu if Zamasu didn't take Mai as hostage
We don’t give Doctor Gero his credit he created robots that could destroy a universe
Can you scale Heroes series
Prolly not
You exagerated Cell's power, he would destroy the universe not in a single attack, but randomly destroying things whenever he want
Again, they said that nobody will stop Boo from destroying things
An actual feat is that the Kaioshins doubted that the sacred planet will not be capable to resiste the genkidama, even beeing the 33 % of the size of the main universe
Anyway, i see a lot of people saying that manga Goku is stronger because he don't use the ssj blue kaioken×20 against any random minion
in the anime goku absorbed the god ki had better feats he defeated jiren who was considered stronger than the gods of destruction in ultra instinct goku grows stronger with every second whis said so he uses less energy manga there is no such thing
Base granola is faster than instant transmission ,so thats means he have inaccessible speed 🤔 ??

I think the anime meant over time cell could reasonably destroy the universe by destroying one solar system at a time

"Stronger forms doesn't equal stronger character." Guys, stop letting people speak this absolute shit because this is fucking shit tell how a stronger form doesnt mean stronger character
@RackerTheRascalMashup even then in the battle of gods arc vegeta wasn't doing nearly as much damage than what ssjg goku was doing to beerus because goku in ssjg is using A STRONGER FORM
@@kiot7042 buddy, the forms are a multiplier to base power meaning even if you have a stronger form, someone can be stronger than you if they have a stronger base.
Example
I have a base of 5000 while you have a base of 2000. I have super saiyan 1 while you have super saiyan 2. That means at full power I'd have a power level of 250,000 while you would be at 200,000. So while you have the stronger form I am still the stronger person.
Are we forgetting broly was kicking super saiyan blue while in super saiyan?
Are you gonna say cabba loses to buu saga goku because goku had better forms?
Lol why Jesus is fighting Goku
As soon as they explained how in the manga MUI your supposed to be in a calm state, I got so perplexed because Anime Goku seemed livid asf.
Unless Goku completely perfected UI in that final fight, able to utilize his emotions to the fullest. Anime Goku built different.
anime goku accidentally achieved something manga goku failed after several years of training
Anime Goku looked pretty angry when Jiren tried to kill his friends, and fought even harder without losing his transformation.

Bro and lets not get into all the zenkais goku & vegeta got, that arc in the anime was nuts bro
even Anime Goku Black got crazy strong @@dimensionvisitor7689
All in all, manga Goku is definitely comparable to his anime counterpart.
ima be real chat,Goku is so peak, but i don't know..Goku is so fire ,maybe Goku wins after all
I knew from the start that Goku is stronger.
Spoiler alert goku wins 🥲
You also have other things like the multipliers of the forms being different. As not only does God not have any of the Fusion or “Strongest Warrior” statements to give a gauge on a multiplier (like the anime), but SSJB is heavily inferred to be a 5x amp off of God. As opposed to the anime, which more so displayed it at least a 50x boost or more, based off Goku’s fight with Kefla. And even Perfected Blue, might only be around a 2x-Blue squared level amp. Lack of info to properly gauge the strength of Blue Evolution as well
Could you explain the 5x ssg multiplier for ssb in the manga, since ssb is literally just ssg + ssj1 meaning it should be 50x regardless
And Beerus does somewhat back this, as he says that SSJB is just a “mere power-up of SSJ God.”
As for Perfected Blue.
The same Goku said kid buu was hiding his power and is far stronger than any other buu.
Anime Goku outscales badly
The Broly Movie (atleast the fight) happens in both continuities and at that point I just assume the scaling became equal for the Anime and Manga (except Manga Goku being ahead since he perfected blue unlike Anime Goku.)
Edit: Forgot to mention the DBZ Anime Scaling applies to the manga since there’s a literal Guide that states the DBZ Anime is Canon to the DBS Manga too.
The ToF manga isn't considered canon to the Super Manga, just a thing for the movie
@@Cam10_84 It is canon to the Manga, that’s like saying BoG Manga arc isn’t canon to the Manga because that’s literally the same thing just for that arc.
