Hi love your videos, your a natural in front of the camera. Just bought my first van. Coachman 560/4. Took it to a test site near Penrith. Getting packed up I knew I had to look for the green light solid but it was flashing. Moved the motor mover off the wheels and that sorted it. Good reminder to remove the motor mover. Love your channel thanks.
I messaged you last week about my new Navara, thanks for your reply. It’s getting checked out tomorrow and if they have only wired 7 wires into a 13 socket as I asked for, and paid for, someone at Nissan will get a kick on their butt 😜. Keep up these informative videos, they really are good 👍
Hi Mark. Why don’t they fit a manual lock when reversing to stop the brake coming on, I was trying to reverse onto a very soft grass pitch last week and because the van sunk into the grass (1.6t van) and the wheels on the awd just spun, had to eventually use the motor movers to get it in place. I get that it could be a safety issue if left in place but that’s all part of the checks when hitching up. Thanks
In theory the brakes shoukd come off in reverse if they are set up correctly. But if sinking in the grass it may just have been that causing the issue?
I had this and I now both twin sockets fitted for black and grey socket with towbar. My ATC works perfectly now as wasn't working before you also need the grey to have your fridge cooling down when towing too. I have to caravans in the family one with atc one without can notice the difference so will hopefully get it fitted to the Lunar Lexon CS soon
I have tried looking for places near to Birmingham where I could get ATC fitted to our Lunar Lexon CS 2004. One of our passengers hates the feel of the Caravan if it does ever sway and goes by train now to nearest train station just so not to be in car. Could you help with places as new to all of this Internet stuff. Thank you Mark
Hi Can you answer a question please , when i unhitch my caravan from the car and use then use motor movers , the caravan is not moving correctly, because the hand brake is still on although its down. the long bar under the handbrake is not doing anything because its not been disconnected correctly, its something to do with the hitch piston on the front, what do you know about this issue.. the system works fine no problems , just my procedure is not right.. twice its done this and I've to connect the car to release the cable /handbrake... then use the movers ..
Hi i believe it should spring back out, its working as it should do going in and then back out.. what i am trying to say is what pushes and pull the push rod, when using the hand brake you can see it moving back and forth.. but when the brakes on its doing nothing.. this seems to be a common problem i am trying to understand

Hi mark,I've got one 7 pin connection on my car,I use an 16 pin adapter to hook up with the caravan, will the ATC still work ?
No unfortunately you need the grey electric also wired. The black is just lights, grey will charge battery, run fridge and also power the ATC. 👍

They are Nottingham but think they are mobile so should cover your area.
@@thecaravanplace Thank you so much for your help really appreciate your time. Will be contacting them first thing Monday morning. Thanks again Mark
If the ATC is showing red light how would this affect your insurance if you continued to tow ?.
Yes very possibly if the ATC is part of your insurance than it may void your insurance traveling without it. Great comment 👍

is the damper staying in, where the hitch pushes into the caravan?

should all new caravans come with this safety feature?
I believe they do

I believe I was wrong 😑 lol
I think some still don't have this fitted as standard.
@@thecaravanplace we do t & van only 5 yrs old
Why does my Al,ko system not fire up
Possibly the fuse on the car has blown and not sending the power to the ATC.
Alco ATC I think we know what that is
Just making sure.
Well I didn’t know ! Hence I’m watching this as may take up this caravan malarkey.
