I agree with you Randal, Their stories weren't bad and neither was the gameplay but I think the main reason everyone hates the two games is because they are called assassin's creed game because the gameplay is the complete opposite of what previous assassin's creed identities were, Parkour-Stealth based games but After Origins they completely lost their identities, Odyssey HAD NO ASSASSIN'S whatsoever, Before you mention Darius, he's not an assassin's or a hidden one just someone who made the hidden blade and was the first known user of it, Kassandra/Alexios are just agile mercenaries who don't use a hidden blade and the main story doesn't have anything Assassin related, Darius and Assassin related stuff is DLC, Valhalla? Fuck Eivor had the chance but refused to be one, The gameplay was just combat only and even though there was parkour its not really useful unless it's to solve a puzzle but Valhalla was the peak of its identity crisis, atleast they tried to return to its roots with Mirage but they executed it poorly, Ubisoft needs to make a New RPG IP that takes place in the same universe and just relabal Valhalla and Odyssy from being assassin's creed games
