We've had that exact Travis tender for 11 seasons and have always been really happy with it. One note - if you're not using the whole box, shut the slide off 200 lbs before you think you need to. That's about how much the auger and the chute under the box holds. Keep up the good work!
Back in the 80's, I had a 1941 Farmall "A" with a Woods L59 belly mower. It was good out in the open, but not real handy in close quarters like a Hydrostatic type mower is.
Because we run three White 9900 24r30 planters, with the center fill boxes being so tall and needing the capacity. We ended up having to switch our travis 6 box and 4 box tenders to one Norwood S3 tender
Grew up on a Bn narrow front end. It was a great old tractor. That 4 cylinder engine never ever failed to start. It was very simple compared to what your farming with today. They used a lot of them to plant and cultivate tobacco in Kentucky and Tennessee back in the 1950’s and 60’s before the tobacco markets crashed . Your new home is starting to come together. Be careful and stay safe 😀
i just bought a new seed cart just like yours this spring and did not see that reversing auger switch until i seen your video, you learn somthing new every day.haha
Great seeing the model A,my oldest son mowed all the fence rows with one just like yours. He got $7.50 per field, enough to buy a Honda 50 at the end of the summer. He was about 10 or 11 years old at that time,he and his younger brother who had an AC with a 60inch cut (who Dad bought) mowed 16 acres each week.Kinda like your 2 boys.
oh no ! it won't be the same without the seed tender rants lol....But if you're anything like my wife says I am you'll find another irritant real soon. Don't fret about the fancy equipment the "sell outs" have, it's good to see someone WORK for everything rather than get it because they have huge channels.
👍👍👍
Great video

Does your I pad link to your 2630 and if so how? Many thanks in advance great to see your soil assessment
No its links to the 20/20 monitor. I know on newer deere systems you can use an iPad but not with our system.
Nice tender. Put you a reserve gas
Can on it somewhere. Or in your truck

You still have you're case 730 yet?
It not really mine but yes it's still in the barn
Awesome video Nathan that Farmall was a sweet tractor what year was it go green
Can’t wait to see the new seed tender being used.
Any update on the tire tracks? Still pissed.
That first field you went in can you not disc it to help it dry quicker?
Doing tillage on wet ground is not a good idea. It causes compaction that will affect crops for several years.
I just wondering because I'm not a farmer I helped on the farm. Your house place is looking good by the way.
A little strange seeing you on something red Nathan 😂 I like it though👍
👀👀👀👀👍👍👍
