This is an amazing analogy for addiction. The banshee is the addiction. At first it looks really good and enticing. The monsters are people trying to help you. They always try and stop you but you never listen. In the end the banshee shows that it is a hideous monster and no good for you and you realize that you’re in a loop going nowhere bound to do the same thing again and again with no way out.

Well it’s clear to see why that won an award! I don’t know the song, I saw the link but it’s not my favorite genre. However to have the capacity to draw such a story from ANY song, well that shows true talent! And to have been fortunate enough to have the wonderful Dr. Creepen do the narration and bring it to life, well that’s just sheer providence! Thank you for this awesome adventure, clearly not for the knight, but for us. I’m assuming he’s stuck in Hell and his eternal punishment is to relive his former transgressions in the afterlife. Celtic folklore yes!!!! Reminds me of the epic of Beowulf. With the creature the Grendel and the sword the Hrunting that was used to kill Grendel's mother. Those cursed creatures were lineage of Cain which is an awesome layer of this epic.
Beowulf was Germanic rather than Celtic, but yeah, this has some of the same feel to it, and the creatures known as either "children of Cain" or "Eve's unwashed children" are an interesting concept. I think they might actually have been inspired by the last remnants of the Neanderthals...human like, but not entirely human, incredibly strong but unable to speak, and with minds that did not work quite the same as yours or mine.

I've never ever considered paying a RUclipsr for their content but I seriously think next month I'ma join patreon and hook my account up to drop you fiver or so every few weeks because it's been a year I've been consuming your content and it's just gold you only ever produce the highest qaulity product and I feel like I'm stealing from you now.
There have been so many times your story's have helped me get through the day,you edit your product with perfection in comparison to mr.creepy pasta who will say a line 3 times and not edit it out and confuse everyone,not you though. You even go the extra mile to create the perfect atmosphere and best of ALL you use original music and adio samples that YOU create(which btw are amazing! You even allow others to sample and use it for free,it's crime that they don't!) Not the same darn 3 creepy pasta mujji(or whatever the guys name is I forget) songs you hear in over 500 narrators content. With how demonetisation efffects creepy pastas and you never complained or started doing ads that have shit all to do with your channel (which I wouldn't mind at all with this level of quality,hope dollar shave or that stupid Viking ad ppl contact you one day soon) I'm just amazed you still consistently produce this gold. So im going to find a way to reimburse you when I get paid next month you fricken deserve it man way more than any of the 1mil+ narrators.

Perfect way to end my week every week; a blunt and 30 luxurious minutes of Doctor Creepen’s phenomenal reading, AND sharing both with my girlfriend.
I’m so happy that my life could get to this point. It’s not luxurious... it’s just... right.

Though I do understand and appreciate your input and don’t hesitate to provide it to someone like myself in the future. With Marisa, my girlfriend, there just isn’t any reason to be afraid. It’s a scary but comforting feeling.
I mean, don’t worry, I’m always entirely myself and I’m very proudly and passionately so. My girlfriend is also very much herself and someone I admire.
I’m not afraid to love her without any emphasis on myself. It’s sort of difficult to explain. It’s as though I love her in such a way that the things that I do for her are out of love and I don’t think in the least- at any point- ‘what can I get in return?’
It’s dangerous to love in this way and I was honestly abused emotionally and used for my willingness to give and care in the past.
Ultimately everything worked out because once I met Marisa, she turned my whole world upside down. She made me remember pieces of myself that I had lost from the abusive relationship I mentioned above. Marisa reminded me that I’m smart, capable, attractive, creative, and powerful. It was so frightening how loving her was so easy. I didn’t have to try. I didn’t have to settle. It’s like every aspect of her personality and appearance are composed of all of the bits and pieces of crushes and dates I’ve had over the years; things I’ve found particularly attractive here and there. She has all of those things. Not to say she’s some sort of model or something, I recognize that to some, that would be their ‘ideal’ partner. There’s nothing at all wrong with that. It just isn’t at all like that for me.
It’s just something special. For two people to accentuate all of the very best attributes in one another on a day to day basis.
To this day when I feel especially close to her and we’re laughing and playing together, I ask her ‘okay, do I wake up yet?’
She used to ask what I meant.
Now she just says, “No, it keeps getting better.”
It’s ridiculous.
That’s why I hoped that by whatever powers that anyone believes in, including just belief in the power of oneself, that they can find a happiness that feels like this.
You just have to find the things that you love. The little things, not the big and lofty goals that you hear about all of the time. There are things to be happy about every day. Little moments that are just perfect. And they’re different for everyone.
It’s okay to be happy right in that little moment. One doesn’t always have to be chasing after something.
Anyway, I fucking love the good Doctor and the time that I’ve spent with him has been absolutely wonderful. He’s my favorite narrator on RUclips. He has all of the absolute best stories. His voice is one of a kind in the absolute best of ways. The inflections and tone variance of his delivery when portraying different characters is so diverse and rich while still maintains the signature Doctor Creepen sound.
I discovered this channel about a year ago and in no time, I had listened to every single one of his readings that were available at the time. He’s the only narrator whose uploads that I really get ‘excited’ about, the way that I do.
