Did you seriously say Deion should be paid more than all of those coaches? SERIOUSLY??? Are you a journalist or fan? Deion’s 9-4 became less impressive the minute the lights were shining on Arizona State. The two worst teams from the PAC-12 came into the Big12 and finished in the Top 3. ASU won it all. That shows how truly bad the Big 12 was. A 13-12 overall record, without a decent win over a good team, and another bowl loss is NOT the resume of a coach who should be paid $7M+. Yes, he has helped increase the local economy. But, that’s part of the job. He might get a pay increase because he has Colorado held hostage. But, he doesn’t deserve it yet.

I need to see how the team looks without Sheduer and Hunter. What if they have another losing record or two bad seasons? You would be stuck with him like Florida St and Mike Norvell or USC and Lincoln Riley. Colorado still has the leverage
Are you kidding us? They were not a 2-man team, horse and pony show, that succeeded because of 2 star players. they were a much better team all around. They have an awesome coaching staff. They've already bolstered the QB position, or maybe you missed the memo. They've bolstered the DL with some 5 Star Dawgs. And now that Shilo and the other Sr DB's are gone, the other very talented DB's can finally show their cover speed and shine. As can the Receivers with Travis and his buddy gone too. One amazing Receiver and one really good Receiver, will be replaced by 3 really fast and pretty darn good receivers. Just watch and see. This ain't FSU or USC!! Last year FSU's problems started with that joke of a Bowl appearance, where they were murdered. Partly because 10 Seniors, and 4 starters, who got them there, decided NOT to play and entered the portal, remember? USC just didn't have a good back-up plan for their 2023 losses. However, after Coach Prime & the Buffs lost 3 Assistant Coaches and 23 players, due to graduation or portal transfers. They had a very good back-up plan in place, to counter that occurrence. Then went 9 and 4. We Got This!!
@@SeminoleSatchAnd your line of reasoning and delusion is exactly how universities end up with bad contracts like Norvell and Riley. Be that as it may... And very little of what you offered appears duly smart in the right way.

Definitely don't make him the highest paid college coach at this point.
@Gr8Stowe Not, if the money really isn't there for it. On top of that, if we start losing, you can't get rid of him. USC wants to get rid of LR, but it's gonna cost them 100mil to do it. Prime does not need to go to the NFL he will get Embarrassed remember Nick Saban🔥🔥🔥 Pay him don't Play Him Colorado
You WRONG ‼️
You get what you negotiate
CU does not have the money to keep him at his value. He should be the highest paid coach in college football. He brought alot to CU. If not, he needs to move on.
He should be the highest paid coach in CFB ? That's insanity
@@CnyPitt2020😂
His jids will be exposed at NFL level.
Coach Prime better stay at Colorado because he's not cut out for the NFL!
CP ain't better do nothing. Has nv'er been his M.O Coach Prime is an innovator. He has juice. He's a winner!
A D. Rick George may choose to align himself with greatness and make spectacular decisions.
@HeismanHopeful YOU MISSING THE DAMN POINT! COACH PRIME HAS A CALLING AND A GIFT TO COACH YOUNG MEN, NOT GROWN MEN!!! THE NFL WILL EAT HIM ALIVE COACHING WISE.
@EddieSimpson-v2h U'r changing the narrative. Ur original statement didn't speak to the spiritual aspect of coaching. Standing by my original statement; & your language and tone were inappropriate. We just talking right? Not try'n to be in a RUclips fight on such a beautiful day.🥳
Brooooo... Not cut out for the NFL? The man is in the NFL HOF. He's earned the right to do whatever God's plan is. Life is always moving and opportunities open up. The Raider job is almost perfect from the outside looking in.
I hate to say it but I have a feeling, Deion to raiders looks more likely.. especially with the rumor of Sheduer falling is a smoke screen for the raiders for him to be available at 8
Mannnn you people be really putting words in coach primes mouth! You not even saying what he actually said. For someone who follows the team you really don’t know who the coach really stands for!!
10 to 20
15 millions a year
They have made him an offer already
Dude I watched the whole or most of the video, but damn get your self together man. Berbing and ish got me heated.. Say what you mean and get your ish together.. Respectfully.
I don’t think yall understand how much money the program…the city …and the state has made off Deion coming to boulder the dude should be getting top tier nick saban pay lol
The pay isn't the issue. It's the pot of money needed for everything else.
As for the "Prime Effect" on the local economy? How well received do you think a, umm, "Prime Effect" tax local businesses and/or taxable sales would be?
Nick Saban money ? You sound ridiculous
Do you do realize his son following him around and we are getting the the tea, directly out of his mouth. As y'all is running around telling a bunch of Lies?
He won't sign an extension because he's going to the Raiders with his two sons. He made that statement because he was campaigning for the job without asking for it...
And they will fire him after two to three seasons of not making it to the playoffs
I'm sure Coach Prime will extend only when the resources are duly committed for continued, sustained success.
CU, while it needs to step up on a large scale, also needs to be smarter about it. And very little of what you offered appears duly smart in the right way.
This is all just good Clickbait he has the top rated quarterback freshman coming into Colorado they building a very good office of lineman they have some good recruits he staying he’s gonna have to build a program and he has good people around him to get it done he’s not going to the NFL because he’s not going to coach in New York his son is going to be the top
Boulder Colorada is a beautiful city sitting high, like a star in the sky. She's rare; deserves excellence. Colorado stewards need to step up and give her just due.
Just make him the highest paid college coach!! Simple
No he has to earn that
@benadek6703 1-11 to 9-4 two years.. every game on national tv.. culture.. sold out stadium every game.. colorado merch sales.. businesses in boulder 📈.. Coach Prime leave Colorado done
The last thing, as a Buff fan, is to end up like USC with Lincoln Riley. I think we should figure a way to get the number up (8-10), but he may be looking to get out and has the price at a place that Colorado has no chance of matching. Then he can justify leaving. Definitely don't make him the highest paid college coach at this point.
@stuckinarkansas1 being relevant is priceless 💰
@Gr8Stowe Not, if the money really isn't there for it. On top of that, if we start losing, you can't get rid of him. USC wants to get rid of LR, but it's gonna cost them 100mil to do it. I would rather not be in that kind of situation. There is middle ground somewhere. 7 million seems low right now, but I don't know the finances. Hopefully, they can get there where there is no bad feelings.
You are a liar
