    Aww yes, I love the part where they reference the bible in this song. Specifically the line, "Imma kill for you". The very words of Jesus there, "Kill for me all ye believers"....

    • @leecrotty658
      @leecrotty658 2 года назад +1

      I was thinking over that line and was led to think of David. David fought and killed for the Lord. I’m still not sure though if the answer is true cuz New Testament has us to behave like sheep to the slaughter. My other thought is, what if there comes a day where we’re told to set hard boundaries like Israel? God is God in peace and in war, and we’ve lived in peace in America for so long that we often forget that he’s a God of holy wrath too. Pray about it. I love that someone else is willing to breach such a hard topic. The Spirit tells me this song is ok, but has flaws, what’s he telling you?

    • @DavidAnthonyFlores

      @@leecrotty658 Vengeance is the lords and not ours. Yes, David killed in his name and God did give him permission... however, he was also not allowed to build the temple of God because he had too much blood on his hands and he had to give that task to his Son.
      Spirit is not telling me anything, I'm not gonna lie about it. It also doesn't sit well with my soul either though. Everything that God does is perfect without flaw... So I doubt this was spirit inspired. Seeker friendly churches are fined yet, we shouldn't mimic or conform to the world. This song doesn't sit well with me. It's kinda weird to sing an unbiblical song for worship.

      @@DavidAnthonyFlores ok. My thoughts are toward the 1967 6 day war in Israel.
      I agree it doesn’t sit well, but it still can be used by God. God has used sevendust and smashing pumpkins songs to guide me... so who knows.

      Hyper Ramirez why each of us goes to church is a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. Your judgemental response and name calling is not how God talks or feels about me so I’m ok with you who knows nothing about me, calling me names because your not my God.

      You cant take worldly music and flip it into the gospel . it will still have a worldly feel to it . and not be of god . don't have conformity to this world 💯🙏

    Ewww this is a bit cringe, and not for the stereo typical "how could you do this at church" it is the white folks using songs written and preformed by black people.
