Love how all the palms are looking! Need to get some sabal minors they do really well with this hot, Idaho weather and handle the cold well!

Awesome count in that one area. Thanks for showing those nice palms. You spoke about the little Needle palm as multiples but they will flourish in time. My old Needle Palm produced germination by one of her male pups. She stands 9 feet tall, has a 50 ft girth and several pups have trunked to 3 feet under her skirt. It has lived through sub-zero temps many times in 26 years. Just a few counties northeast of you. Thanks.

Maybe just wrap the trunk with c9 lights and on nights that goes below 18° also wrap up the trunk just up into the crown about a third length of the leaves with frost cloth and bungee cords and just sacrifice the the outer leaves if it gets cold enough to freeze them. That way you would have some green on the palm to start off next year.

Thanks for the ideas. Here is how I wrapped it last year. I never use C9 lights. It was -6F here last year. ruclips.net/video/BBT0GgkDJQY/видео.html

And my two blue butia odorata jubaeas arrived today and it was so nice to get to unbox them. They are on my covered front porch acclimating to my light conditions after being in a dark box for days.
