"Constraints defined by highlighted Lines and Dimensions can't be satisfied" I was trying to apply the steps up to from on or before the 3:00 mark and this is what showed up. It seems that there's only so much for it. I'm just mapping the roads from a CAD file
Is there a way to do this with toposolids? I tried using the toposolid.points node to find the toposolid points but it shows an "empty list" for that node and doesn't adjust the floor. Any advice?
Hi Bin, this is really helpful. But I run into a problem that, the Floor.SlabShapeBy Points turns out to show null. Do you know why this happens? And do you have an solution? Thank you!
If you want to do this multiple times, do you always save each script and make a new one for each floor that you do. Thanks as always, I never miss a video.
This is good, but it would be handy to see how you would cut the floor surface into the topography because the road would have to be offset a few milometers into the topography in order to be accurate, and give way for the curbs. It's not going to be flat all around.
Omg. U saved tons of time and experimentation in this single 5 mins video!! Amazing. Thanks a lot. Knowledge is key!! 👍🏽
Brilliant! I needed to convert smoke outlets from a topo into floors so I could attach basement walls! Very useful, many thanks
really thank you, it's helpful. It help me a lot and easy to use
Glad to hear that!
I have fixed the problem. Thank you!
nice nice nice ... a very simple script that save a lot of manual manipulations in Floor>Edit> sub-elements .... thanks
THANK YOU !

Do you have the Lock ticked? Try untick it when picking DWG lines.
@@BINHE615 I don't remember seeing the tick at the Lock. I'm trying other methods, and also considering to add this one to them.
No worries, please let me know if you still have issues, would be good if you can explain some background details.
THX BRO YOU ARE THE BEST

I'm not too sure, havn't tried dynamo on this topic for a long time, I will have a look later this week.
@ awesome thanks! I’ve tried and can’t get it figured out
btw whats your opinion on making topo model separate from the building. If separate I suppose the building pads are part of the topo model
I use building pad sometimes , but prefer to modify the topo myself, sometimes fill region and masking region also work well.
Sir, may I ask? what if I replace the target with the floor too but have a different elevation
I think you need to run the script again. Of course you need to update the selection in dynamo to pick the new floor.

Thank you bro
Does it work with Revit 2023? It looks like it doesnt
I'm not sure TBH.
Hi Bin, just today my team found floor.slab shape by points node disappeared in revit 2021 (dynamo 2.5)...have you tried this in revit 2021?
Do you have Clockwork Package installed?
@@BINHE615 yes, and tested all version of clockwork. revit 2018 works, In 2021 you can not find the key floor node..:)

You can select different topo and floors.

Good idea. I think you can simple move the floor down a little once it is created.
magic
Is there a way to make the topography follow the floor using Dynamo?
Could you make a video explaining
Thanks for sharing your knowledge ;-)
Is this video talking about this specific topic?
