Right he left out so many key points for Seattle like this was so one sided and for Goff doing so good? That explains the last two losses Goff has had lions haven’t won to Seattle since 2012
I remember you last year before the game and after how you felt 😂 You can play the "opponents card' all day but you cant ignore the fact either that Seattle has brand new coaching on both sides of the football.
Brand new coaching is at best a minor advantage. The reason why is because there is tape on most guys when they were junior coaches, or oftentimes styles are passed down from coach to coach. You learn much more about a teams ability to win based on how well they perform against opponents versus what scheme they run. I can have the best scheme in the world but if I have crap players won’t matter one iota, and likewise the opposite is true I maybe have a terrible scheme but good players can overcome that and make virtually anything work.
With Glasgow playing subpar injured and Ragnow out it’s gonna be tuff. Almost all Goff’s real bad games have been when guys were injured and or out on the oline.
Dude you can’t call the Seahawks the best defense when they have played scrub talent! And furthermore on top of that they are missing three LB’s and two of their best D-Linemen
@@MotorCityFanMania now I understand stand what you are saying about them most teams who starts off with a good record you gotta look at who they played 😂
@@MotorCityFanMania still pwns the Lions and if we can call the Lions offense elite when they struggled vs scrub defenses we can sure call statistically the literal bbest defense in football elite
Good afternoon. Sporty hat! Great analysis. This is not just a must win game for the Lions-it's a better win game. Didja know Minnesota has a +55 point differential in their first three games? Maybe you could do an episode on the current NFC North. Again, for what it's worth, Cowherd has 3 North teams in his top 10, from #6 (Detroit) to #3.
Also Goff is going against the defense coordinator who was with the Ravens....And they shut us down with that defense. Now the Ravens look horrible without him being there and the Seahawks are undefeated
The Seahawks personnel is nowhere close to matching the Ravens defense from last year and that is even if they were fully healthy, which they are far from
This will be the Gibbs and Williamson show... I expect them both to have breakout games not to mention if Anzalone plays and Hutch is going to be Hutch
Even if youre Tim Boyle or Skyler Thompson you still have Tyreek Hill, Waddle, snd Achane. Thats so much speed, you're supposed to be guaranteed yards after catch. And yet they were shut down and honestly should have been shut out. Seattle has elite coverage DBs, Woolen, Spoon, Love, the biggest mismatch is the TEs on LBs
Losing Ragnow does sting, but we will be fine. Glasgow is a very solid center replacement and I am more than confident the Lions will plug the guard spot that Glasgow vacates with an equally solid player. The Lions have contingencies for this and our O-Line responds well. The injuries on defense I’m not too worried about. Barnes out is problematic but we will get Anzalone back this week and Branch appears he has a good shot to not miss any time. And with McNeill practicing that also is a good sign. I believe we will be fine
First off the stats do include those because I did say two INT’s. However second you have a very short memory to think Goff was the reason we lost those games. Kind of hard for it to be his fault when the defense gives up quite literally the same amount of points we score. Goff literally played as well as any QB. How about we remember the fact our defense was terrible and other people committed turnovers as well that also led to points for the Seahawks.
Seattle beat three 1-2 teams. Detroit beat two 1-2 teams and lost to the only team they played that has a winning record. I don't think looking at past opponents makes the point you're making, it cuts every way.
No it actually doesn’t. You base everything off of record. I base it off of talent. Nobody is looking at the Broncos or Patriots to do anything this year. And the Dolphins are floundering without Tua. The Lions played two playoff teams from last year. And the Cardinals while still rebuilding aren’t slouches they play hard and are physical. Plus their roster is again more talented than both the Broncos and Patriots. So again I don’t base my statement on who has a good record. Case in point the Steelers are 3-0 but nobody thinks they are a good team.
I'd expect the Lions vaunted offense to perform.
Always love your analysis

It’s an Honor to Serve. God bless my friend
And yet we always lose to them
Can’t really compare circumstances like roster talent from years past to now. Just because we have lost in the past doesn’t mean we will this time
Can you make a video about the lions defense and the seahawks offense?
Absolutely I already planned on it
