    How was the food?

      Got better at the end of the cruise. They were switching to the better menu when we were on the ship and they were just starting to relearn the fancy stuff like duck and beef Wellington

    I absolutely adore this class of ship - I just find them so classy, and think they handle crowds so so so well!

      It is a great ship. Love the flow, love the tons of space and comfortable seating that was always available, the lack of crowds. The elegance it had. Everything about the ship was spot on.

    We really enjoyed our time on the Celebrity Eclipse! This was our initial thoughts of our cruise the day before we disembarked. What do you like about the Solstice Class ships with Celebrity.

      It was a long chat. I just didn’t know what I should have cut. So I just left it as is. Felt the most authentic way to do it.

    Rob, great informational video. You and Sheryl should do this after each cruise you go on.

    Hey there! Absolutely love your videos - they're super helpful! Quick question: Does Celebrity Cruise offer post-booking discounts like Royal Caribbean? Wondering if it's better to prepay tips and drinks or wait for special deals. Royal Caribbean usually sends some cool offers closer to the cruise. Also, any insights on the saltiness of buffet food? Thanks a bunch for your awesome content, really appreciate it!

    • @CruiseSeakers
      @CruiseSeakers  10 месяцев назад

      Yes. Just like Royal Caribbean they have a cruise planner and often there are sales. For this cruise we picked up a trio specialty dining package for just 99.00 per person (2 dinners and 1 lunch), we also upgraded our drink package to premium from classic for 6.99 pp/per day, and upgraded our WiFi for 3.99 per day per device. Each were close to 50% off normal ship pricing.
      As for saltiness of buffet food, I usually did my create your own pasta bowl, Indian food or the special on offer. Non were over salted in my opinion.

    For the record, my wife and I were the ones whom delayed Rob and Sheryl’s early, media embarkation! But, I would like to clarify that it was not our fault, nor did we solicit the extra help! That’s pure, 100%, Robert Binetti. He cared more about our welfare, as inexperienced cruisers, than he did about his unique opportunity to capture videos of the ship before passengers started embarkation. And, that’s just one of many kind and helpful acts both he and Sheryl provided before, during, and after this cruise. They are truly kind people, have your best interest at heart, and helped us a ton in navigating our way back into the joys of ocean liner cruising! If you’re at all interested in a future cruise, please give them a try! We are going with them again in January…can’t wait!

      Thank you for the kind words! We enjoyed your company so much and we truly feel like you are friends! Why wouldn’t people make alterations to schedules for friends. Our friends are the family we choose. Nothing more important than that in our book. We can’t wait till January as well! It will be here in no time flat!

    Chef’s Table was awesome on Carnival. One of mine and my late wife’s favorite things to do

    I love the towel animals.

      I enjoyed them, but with how the cabin stewards have been given so many more rooms to manage and without an assistant, they are worked enough. I can live without them now.
