That rig sure likes to have a wheel in the air 😅 I wonder were you landed from the 289 rtr price to how you drove it? Probably more like 599 🤷♂ This must for sure be the biggest pumpkin axles. You have portals, but the clearance isn't any more then on 'normal sized pumpkin' straight axles. Must say, I do agree on the thing you talked about the most: that is one nice looking body!
@@brianmassey7563 well, that should be an easy choice than, not? Do people buy this car blindfolded? What worries me are not the OG RC guys. We can make it work. But people new to the hobby buying this...
Yea it’s definitely going need some work. Like you said the more OG drivers won’t have problems fixing or mods. Overall I think it was fun tho, definitely ready to actually get some work done on it and fix some things
We have a full carbon comp chassis kit for this truck dropping very soon. Drops the motor as well as changes the shock locations and geometry.
Well I will keep an eye out and snag it when it drops for sure.
I ended up order a few things from ya last night and filled out the notification stuff for the ascent chassis, that looks great
@@TRDAdventures thanks Tim, I appreciate the business. I think you’re really going to like the Ascent chassis.
Just ordered my redcat and the DSM chassis going to be killer!
great review thanks to you i watched your other video on the aux channel for the dx5 rugged
I took out the internal springs.Driving with tires in the air constantly wasn't for me and now there is about 1 tire worth of flex.
Yea I’m messing with shocks next for sure change up some spring weight and remove that internal spring
Great review and run Tim

a quick price check with what he had on it was around $710. I think my VRD Carbon with outrunner and NSDRC RS700 on Megalithics is about $35 more.

Will that body fit on the axial pro? If so I’m going to order one
I’m sure it probably could
Dislike due to no final thoughts or opinions
That is coming, I’m hitting my thoughts and next steps in the next video.
