Hey Steve! I've only got the one transfer. Despite Salah wiping out my lead in my minileague, I'm going to sit on Halaand for one more week and hope that Liverpool turn in another lethargic post-International break performance. Or maybe a repeat of their recent away wins at Wolves and Palace (even if Salah did get a pen in that Wolves game). For next week, will likely drop Halaand all the way down to Joao Pedro, then wait until the following week before upgrading Rogers or Garnacho to Salah. Already sitting on Mbeumo, Saka & Palmer....who could really do with puliing their fingers out.
Gidday mate! Having Foden in my team helped drive the decision to ditch Haaland, and of course, I love Pedro as an FPL asset so that helped too. Just watch Haaland go and bang in a hat trick and Liverpool to win 7-0 without Salah getting a single return. Geez, you’re going to have more money sitting in the bank next week than my 6.3m. Stacked team though mate, I’m sure Saka & Palmer will pull finger over this run and you’ve already got both! 💪
Thanks mate. I think lots of managers will be holding Haaland, and given the way this season has gone he’s almost certainly going to bang a hat trick against Spurs now that I’ve sold him. 🤦♂
@@GKneeIssYT Your welcome. I have to give up Saka for him though. But yeah wouldn't mind at all if he scores a hat trick. Although heard that Saka might not play. Was seen in training but not sure if he trained.
Hold Haaland for 1 last week then sell him and spread the funds around. Haaland just scored a hat trick against Kazakhstan for Norway in the International Break and Spurs are very vulnerable right now playing away from home after losing to a team like Ipswich. They also might be without Romero and Van De Ven their 2 best defenders and Bentacur has a 7 match ban aswell and KDB should be playing in the Spurs game. Remember aswell Spurs are terrible at defending set pieces especially now it will be even worse for them without their star center halves. 15 million is just not worth it for the returns he has been getting lately and the fixtures coming up for City however I'd hold him for just 1 last week as this fixture is too good to give up in my opinion.
Hmmm, I wouldn’t put too much weight into the Norway vs. Kazakhstan performance, and there’s no guarantee that KDB starts this weekend. Plus, I think Southampton’s defence is probably still going to be more vulnerable than Spurs even with Dragusin & Ben Davies playing in a worst case scenario. And if Salah scores a goal then Haaland will probably need a goal and an assist or second goal to beat Salah’s FPL score. And to top it all off, Pedro is an ultra differential against Bournemouth this weekend which I quite like the look of over a flagged Foden, especially considering I've got no bench cover if Foden misses out.
Hi Steve, I was thinking of bringing in Joao Pedro this week and wondered if I transfer out solanke or Wood. My midfield would be Salah, Palmer, Semenyo, Rogers and Mbeumo. I do have an extra free transfer to do saka as well as joao pedro.
Hmmm, tough choice mate. That Ipswich game reminded me why I sold Solanke, it was just painful that he creamed it in the Villa game, the week when I actually sold him. 😢 I’d be tempted to hold Wood for his value and that he’s probably the most likely to score for Forest, whereas a few players could score for Spurs. And so far Solanke doesn’t look to be worth his 7.7m price tag. Roll the dice on tough fixtures for an in-form Wood would probably be where I'd end up.
Hit the wildcard this gw. Don't have Palmer and he's a must have (a term I don't like to use but I just can't argue against going him with Chelsea's insane fixture run). Wc is mostly settled. Have to drop Wood and Mbuemo unfortunately due to the poor long term fixtures for both. It could hurt me in gw13 when they face Ipswich and Leicester respectively but money is tight when I'm going Salah, Palmer and Haaland (Haaland will bounce back imo, he's simply too good to be in this bad form and KDB is back). Pretty much the only wc dilemia I have is Verburggen, Gabriel and ESR or Raya, van Hecke, Madueke. Do prefer Gabriel over Raya and ESR has a great fixture this week (I can bench him for the Arsenal and Liverpool fixtures as long as Semenyo doesn't get suspended) but I want to take a swing on a differential and Leicester and Southampton (2 of Chelsea's next 3 opponents) have conceded the most key passes down their left flank in the league.
Very patient with the wildcard and a perfect week to be deploying it! Yeah, Palmer is right up there as a must own asset. I don’t mind the term must own because it represents the players with the best shot at the biggest hauls in the coming gameweeks which is kind of what we’re aiming for. Strewth! Haaland, Salah & Palmer… talk about splashing the cash haha! 💪 I suppose that is a lot more achievable in later gameweeks given your team value will have increased a lot by GW12. Interesting dilemmas! Verbruggen vs. van Hecke is much of a muchness. Gabriel should outscore Raya comfortably assuming he gets an attacking return or two, especially considering Raya shouldn’t make too many saves with a kinder fixture schedule. ESR has a slight rotation threat but he’s a great player with good potential. And I don’t mind Madueke at all with these fixtures, especially if you’re looking for a big differential with high potential. I’m intrigued to see where you end up as it’s definitely a different style of wildcard, drop us a comment with your full team once it’s settled.
I’m not sure that Spurs without their 2 first choice centre backs is a worse defence than Southampton. The Saints are consistently playing out from the back and admirably attempting that against the big boys, but Liverpool’s press is one of the best in the league so I think Salah will get quite a bit of joy this weekend.
Great player, always starts when fit, has the fixtures and the penalties. However, he’s a bit injury prone, and in most setups he’s probably going to block you from buying one of Saka or Palmer.

Fellow Trigger talk's FPL countryman 😊
From the land of the long white, get in lad! 💪 Not sure I get the reference to Trigger talk’s though mate?

Great video. I myself am thinking of holding on to Haaland as well. Although don't have him right now as I'm on WC.

I wouldn't sell Haaland this week. I personally think he's the best captain this week due to Spurs' centre-backs being injured.

Haaland price is due to drop tonight and JP to go up. Maybe time to get that transfer done.
Thanks mate! 🙏 I caught the JP price rise yesterday.
Thoughts on Isak?
