I've owned a number of Chromebooks including a high-end model. It's worth it. It does everything I need it to do and more. I don't have the patience for Windows or Mac OS and all their long updates. I get six hours of battery life from my Dell Inspiron Chromebook and that's fine for me as I work from home. Even if I'm on the go, it will still work as long as I need it to. But I bring my charger cable just in case.
I know. I've owned a lot of Macs since 1984. Just not into them. I spend most of my work time on Word and Google docs as I'm a professional writer. Windows and Chrome OS are good enough. Chrome is the most trouble free from my experience. @@aligee7231
Bought one at Best Buy. Good looking, solid feel. Sort of a soft-touch keyboard that is pleasing. Perfect for surfing web while wife is watching a movie I'm not crazy about LOL. Will use when traveling so I can leave my MacBook behind. Nice price and performance. I've had lower performing 4gb Chromebooks before that stalled out with too many tabs.
I have on aswell, and I am kind of disappointed by the batterylife. Right now its fully charged, and says around 3-5 hours left. That is worse than my old Chromebook that has like 68% battery health.
Got mine yesterday. I like it but the speakers are weak. Had to add Volume Master extension which solves that problem. It's also fairly heavy. The hinges seem well made.
It is definitely better than the chromebook I am using as the one I am using doesn't support touchscreen and the storage is only 32gb and I bought it in 2021.
Just got this Chromebook. Often times I open the lid and it is stuck in tablet mode with the touchpad and keyboard unresponsive. I have to restart it holding down the 'refresh' key so that the hardware will reboot. Did you experience this at all?

With a M powered MacBook you get up to 15 hours of runtime.

with a modern windows laptop you can get 8 hours or more.
Chromebooks should run on arm processors. Lightweight, long lasting alternative to cheap windows machine.

can I attach an external drive and CD to a Chromebook?
Can I use vi / vim on Chromebook? If so how? Thanks!
Yes! Go to ChromeOS settings, Linux section, turn on Linux. You'll get a Linux container.
Well done. Thank you.
When laying it flat, that hinge makes me cringe. I have a hard time believing that will hold up after doing that regularly.
Thank You.

Is it still alright?
is the lenovo writing on the chromebook removable ?
Not without leaving an empty space where the "lenovo" was.
in previous years they used to put girls generation in the screens
for 500$ you can get the proper Windows version of this.
