Probably my favorite Godzilla film. Perfectly captures his character/concept going by the *original movie* while also updating it with eerily appropriate modern touches.
I think Shin's theme has got to be the most epic! Unlike Godzilla's themes which is mostly badass music.. Shin's theme has a music that uniquely captures his agony, intensity of his pain, his savageness and his helplessness to tame that.

There were like 3 versions of rodan if I remember correctly. The rodans from rodan 56 are identical and the new rodan from Ghidorah the three headed monster isn't much different.

This is awesome and stunning! Shin Godzilla is the only Godzilla I’ve ever genuinely felt afraid of and is honestly the only Godzilla movie I’ve ever really had a desire to watch. Terrifyingly powerful and I presume resonates a bit more with me since it’s a bit more topical to the modern day. The whole thing is so tragic and horrific at the same time - you captured it here great!
Shin is both terrifying and pitiable. Yes, he's a serious threat to humanity and has to be destroyed, but the poor thing is in agony and just trying to survive.
1:43 Holly Mothra his evolving see through legs! But this was a fun watch, Shin is one of the most interesting Godzilla's because he can change to adapt into pretty much anything. But I can't wait to see all the things you will be making in the future.
I'll admit to being one of those people who don't like the design. While I do get where they were coming from, it just looks like an ugly fish mixed with a zombified Godzilla.

Shin Godzillas whole life in perspective: Imagine: you see all darkness and your eating something because youre starving, suddenly you feel immense pain, your bones are breaking you suddenly can see but its blurry, youre in a state of shock where you can't control yourself, suddenly you loose balance to immense pain, you feel a part of your body in the air, you are wondering what is going on? then you feel the sudden urge to go up, you feel much much heavier then evolve legs and stubby arms, you drag your massive body bareley containing your pain, eventually you see ''small skinny moving things'' and theres a lot of them, then after a while you crash into a building, youre bones constantly crumble, but your body keep healing itself, then sooner or later you evolve once again, this time you feel dizzy, your back aches and you legs are numb, youre suddenly feel much larger, youre on two legs, you can move your tiny arms grow. you hear loud buzzing only for you to be attacked by mini bullets, you get so hurt, you retreat back into the water, only to feel just as bad, youre arms have grown larger, you ave grown taller, with a bumpy black skin, you can breathe air, you make youre way to further land, then all the sudden you feel skin on your back being blown off, you regenerate but then something bursts out of you, your adrenaline rushing everywhere, you shoot out a massive purple bright, blowing Erie light, you try to look around whats happening to only. see massive objects fall and collapse around you, then you suddenly curl up and this time it goes out of youre back, then tail you beg for mercy but youre in immense pain, youre suffering, you want it to end, then you feel tired, you go to sleep, you wake up in shock constantly from all the immense pain, then you again, blast energy out of your mouth after once again getting attacked, but this time they blow up something under your feet... you feel unstable, you collapse and you slowly feel cold, then you get back up just as you shriek in pain your body freezed, stoping the horrible existence you live in, youre put out of misery...temporarily... Wow.. This video truly captures what Shin Godzilla's design and it's unique concept, I'm surprised--- for someone who has been a huge Godzilla fan for more than 10 years, I can highly confirm that Godzilla Resurgence is one of the most (if not) the most spectacular Godzilla films I have ever seen AND it's one of my personal favorites. In my opinion, the hate for Shin Godzilla is highly unneccesary, of course, this film isn't for everyone but claiming that this is not a good Godzilla film is extremely debatable. For me, No matter how good Legendary Godzilla may be and a much more preferred monster in everybody's eyes, to me Shin Gojira will always be a superior film, theme, monster and a powerful story line. However keep in mind that it's not saying much as Legendary Godzilla films being a bad film at all. I think the Problem from most people’s perspective towards this movie was that there was no fight or spectacularly no Thrill Moment. This is from the people who are used to fights in the Franchises or atleast the part, where the military attempts to stop him and plans are made how to top him in the Classic Movies; Movies, in which everything was more focused on Godzilla himself and only included him as the main monster. That’s possibly why
I do think it's a little weaker story wise, but everything about Godzilla, plus the fantastic directing, special effects and soundtrack (you can't go wrong with Shiro Sagisu) more than makes up for it.

Godzilla King of the monsters Shin is absolute light years above the Legendary films. It’s like comparing McDonald’s to a five-star restaurant. McDonald’s is more accessible yeah so more people know about it but doesn’t have a lot of depth and given the choice, it’s pretty obvious which one you’d choose.
Damn these animations just keep getting better and better. Excellent work FilmCore! You should honestly be a visual effects artist because these animations are just gorgeous, especially these shots; 1:53 and 2:37.
I really like the inclusion of the song "Who Will Know" really adds in atmosphere of sad and epic P.S.: Sad part is the actual song lyrics just to clear that up
