We’re continuing our resort tour series at the Planet Hollywood in Costa Mujeres, Mexico. In this video, we’re touring a Director’s Suite. Overall the rooms are nice, but the finishes could be improved, especially for a 2 year old hotel. We liked the theming and the décor, but you’ll likely encounter a pretty damp room, even with the AC on full. The Director’s Suite is huge! The bathroom is pretty luxurious. The extra living space gives you room to entertain your friends and/or family.

Hi Andrew and Mona, great tour as usual! I thought the first bathroom was fantastic, but the bedroom bathroom was mind blowing! Can you imagine having a place like that in Manhattan or Toronto? Glad you two had the opportunity to stay in that suite! take care.

Are both couches pullout couches? Cause everywhere I read only the living room couch is pullout and not the one in the room. Any confirmation?
I believe just the one in the living room is a pull out
Hey your videos are awesome. Watched all of your sian kaan ones! We went there years ago and were thinking about going back. We are just nervous about trolley ride. We have grand sirenis booked for Dec We have been there many times and love it. But the food is not nearly as good as siaan kaan. Do you have any recommendations other than those 2?
We recommend the Hard rock hotel Riviera Maya or the Barcelo Maya Riviera. Those are our top two 👍🏻
@WherewegoingNext hey thanks so much man! Yeah we ha e business class booked for air canada and have a voucher for air canada and unfortunately they do not use that air carrier for the barcelo riviera maya which really sucks. We will look into hard rock though! Thanks so much.

@@WherewegoingNext Already saw it. I watch all your videos. Just like to see the beach areas get as much attention as the room,restaurant,bar,theater and everything else. Saw the beach but didn’t see the lounge areas or beach bar(if there is one ?) or water sports desk and such. Don’t get me wrong I love your videos ! Watch them all and have been for years. Just have always noticed your resort videos are like 99% restaurants,lounges,bars and such but only 1% beach. We spend most of our time at the beach on vacation. We love to know if the beach loungers have cushions, is the seating the same all along the beach or is there a “preferred section” ? if there is drink service on the beach and if so how good is the service ? What’s included or offered at the water sports hut. You are super thorough throughout your reviews but when it comes to the beach we mostly just get a quick look at the water and shoreline. Anyway enough of my rant. Still love your channel and will always be a loyal subscriber.

This resort had an excellent beach, padded loungers, unlimited towels, decent bar service and several beach bars.
Apart from the beach area, this hotel misses the mark in many other areas as described in the hotel tour 👀
Have you been at RIu Vallarta at Puerto Vallarta ? What’s your thoughts about that hotel and beach?
No, we haven’t been to those 🤷🏼♀️
Read very Bad reviews about this hotel.
About , services, pools dirty, discrimination in serving customers ( Mexican, coloured or black people do not receive services in some of the hotel bars or restaurants). And a lot more .
🤷🏼♀️ the service can be hit or miss - but better on the adult-scene side.

Had never seen something like this in 18 years of travelling.
Yeah - this resort needs help in a lot of areas
