great review as always ! you were there for a week ? what did it run per person at that resort ? thanks again ! anymore videos coming of this resort ? was the food at the buffets any good ?
We were there for 1 week. With airfare for the 5 of us and the 3 rooms it ran just north of 7k. However, we did opt in for the Star Class which was extra and we rented a cabana each day as well. However, I feel it was all money well spent. The drinks, food, and hospitality were outstanding here. The food at the buffet was OUTSTANDING. Most likely the best buffet we've ever had. Coffee was good... not great. But the food at the buffet was 10/10! I shot a quick video of the buffet and it's offerings here - ruclips.net/video/rcKHlRjhh6A/видео.html
Great video, I just have a question are all restaurants open? Did u need to book reservation or walk in is fine? how was the room service was it 24 hrs?
We made reservations for the "special" restaurants (steak house, Japanese, hibachi, etc...). For the buffets and other standard places to eat we just walked right in.
Hi, i love your way of reviewing. Watching all the way from the netherlands. I am just wondering. In the FB groups alot of people complained about the humidity, the mold and sewer smells! Did you notice any of this?
Humidity down in Mexico during the summer months is to be expected. Not much anyone can do about that. When we were there we never smelled anything off putting (sewer smell). Sometimes the seaweed washes up on the shore and ferments in the sun which can give off a foul smell. However, while we were down there we never experienced this. In my opinion, Planet Hollywood did an excellent job with cleaning the beach and sand. They were constantly out there canvasing the area and making sure the seaweed didn't pile up.
Hi! Looking at doing advanced selection for our stay in May, we are with a 1 yr old so trying to plan in advance, but the room that I am looking at is in building 24. Would u happen to know if all of them are swim ups in the first floor? And can you hear the night time entertainment in the room? Thanks!
We arranged it through our travel agent. To be totally honest, the upgrade isn't a great deal of money and it always offers the best options when at any resort. Any time we book a trip we tend to opt into their top tier class so we get the best possible experience. I'm sure though, the resort would be more than happy to upgrade you once you're there.
When we were there back in August it didn't cost us anything. I'm told though that has changed. Don't quote me on that though. My experience was different than that of a few others in the comment section. Someone from Canada reported that they paid $90 per test. Verify with the resort for positive confirmation. I was ready to book the star class swim out junior suit, but now I'm considering changing to The Directors Swim out, it looks fantastic
We're returning to this resort in Aug. That's how much fun we had the first time!

I honestly don't know, I'm sorry. That's something the resort would need to clarify for you.
hey how did you get star class? was it something you bought there at the resort or did you have to buy it when you were booking it?

How much does it cost for the PCR test on site? and Do children under 5 have to have a test done prior to departing ?
