We LOVE the Tokyo Disneyland Resort 😄 That projection mapping sounds incredible! We definitely want to come back to experience Fantasy Springs! Should we ever come back, we want to go during the fall to experience a different season 😊
Tokyo Disneyland was the first Disneyland we’ve ever visited so it will always be special for us, also their merch is the best. We are now 5/6 of the Disney parks around the world. Hopefully one day we can make it to Disney World in Orlando to complete it all. It’s just that it’s a 24 hours flight time for us to go there…
Oh wow! What a great park to start with first. It’s our dream to visit all the parks. Just need Hong Kong and Shanghai 😄 Oh wow 24hrs is so far 🤯 but worth it to say you’ve visited all 6 parks!

This might be a silly question, but how is ordering food at counter service locations in terms of language barrier? Did you encounter any issues? Is it a lot of pointing to pictures to the cast member on the menu? Google translate? I’m planning a trip to Tokyo Disney and trying to be as prepared as possible! Thank you!
That is a great question! We found that most cast members understood the main menu items in English so ordering was pretty easy. A good backup option is pointing to the menu and menu pictures. Also, some of the Japanese words for things are conveniently similar to the English pronunciations (ex. chicken nuggets and french fries). The Papago app was also helpful for us during the trip when we needed to communicate more in the stores, etc. We hope you have a wonderful trip, the Tokyo Disney parks are amazing!

BTW I wonder if you took a flash photo in front of the Fairy Godmother mural in the glass slipper room of Cinderella's Fairytale Hall. If not, next time you'll see a magical effect:)

Do you guys remember around what time did you manage to meet all the characters? It’s so nice that you’ve met so many, we like asking the characters to sign an autograph book…

We will follow your strategy when we visit this winter. Hopefully get in Beauty and the Beast or Monsters Inc. ride standby line ☺

We met all these characters around 10:45am, then they left around 10:55 and came back out 5 minutes later at 11 😄
