    I like the binoculars idea,
    I’ve just bought some.
    I hope you don’t mind me commenting on your first upload but I like to see the transition from first to last.
    Really good viewing and filming from the get go

    I know Deeside well. Lochnagar can be windy, I’ve had some frankly frightening weather experiences on that summit! You captured the beauty of it so well.

    You did really well for your first Vlog and 2000 subs already. Love that water filter, the drone shot of you walking but man come to New Zealand, we have trees here 😆

    Just came across your channel from a link on Murray's channel. Keep going really enjoy your adventures. BTW what size and weight was your pack? Looked packed though probably not so much an issue for a one night camp.

      darrellpax Hi Darrell. Thanks for watching. I completely over-packed with too many ‘just in case’ items - my repetitive fault! It’s an Osprey 70L pack which is fantastic. Sorry, I don’t know the weight but the drone plus batteries etc weighed a lot. I’ve since sold that drone and bought a Mavic Mini. Thanks for watching! Richard.

    I've watched the video now and thoroughly enjoyed it, especially the drone photography. It's inspired me. Have you any recommendations for a starter drone? I have a decent budget but don't want to go crazy.

      Thanks for the comment.. interesting question. I had a Mavic pro which did everything! However, it was bulky and heavy and became too much of a pain to carry with spare batteries etc. I sold it and bought a Mavic mini. It’s absolutely superb. I show it on one of my videos. Think it’s the Chicken Madras one. Thanks.

    I have the Zephyros 1 and it’s not easy to get it taught on an awkward pitch. You’ve done well to get the end poles in the right place as some don’t. I dislike the vestibule. It’s just an afterthought, not something designed as on my dear, departed Akto (old age).

    Do consider getting a Hilleberg tent (even a secondhand one !) that thing you took is .... well words fail me !

      @RichardOutdoors  4 года назад +3

      Max Flight Hi. The Zephyros 2 is a very good and highly regarded tent. I just have problems with end tension.
      I do own a Hilleberg Soulo for the more extreme conditions. Thanks for watching!
