Hate to pile-on, but whoa I can't get over how he looks too. I may not have aged quite so much but I always have to fight the weight, and that will make you look older. Then again. could be meds. I am happy we still have him. He's brought a lot of joy with his work.
well we all grow old, don't we? He sounds like Getz with his vibrato at (almost the very) end of a note. Plus I like the way he plays the beat with the fingers of his right hand.
I felt its just a bit rushed not even tempo...its more or less toms time feel ..he's so on top of the beat just not as laid as such a ballad needs to be in my opinion...not taking anything from his musicianship
Tom Scott is one of the best ever...super smooth and tasteful and loaded with bluesy phrasing and tone...
