I really _really_ want us to explore the *Temple of the Dragon* in Mondstadt, as it was hinted to be underwater due to "certain circunstances" that probably relate to why *Barbatos* threw entire montains into the Golden Apple Archipelago, cut and threw Musk Reef into the ocean and possibly rotated the entirety of Mondstadt by +20°.
@@Gnidel I think most of the player base hates the challenging areas so we might never see an area like dragonspine again but I really hope we do, inazuma is still my favorite region for exploration
As cool as the Fontaine plateau is, the massive waterfalls are a bit of an eyesore when looking at them from other nations imo. I think a cool way genshin could mix things up is by having the waterfall on the Fontaine/Snezhnaya boarder be completely frozen. A massive wall of ice would be an epic backdrop for Snezhnaya, and when we inevitably return to Fontaine, we could explore the ice caves inside and maybe swim underneath floating glaciers.
the game's anniversary will be in 5.0 and because of this Lantern Rite will be in 5.3 which leaves the 5.4 expansion not tied to Liyue which could finally allow for an expansion in Mond
@@WhiteKoneko I think the Mare Jivari would be Natlan's "extra area" like Remuria, Dragonspine, the Chasm, etc... And those have been as of recent years in the .6 versions.
Genshin has still tons of potential to be expanded, just some examples that most likely will happen somewhen sooner or later naturally: - Mount Esus (western Area of Fontaine that is yet unexplorable) - Natlan's 6 Tribe Regions - the first 3 are coming next patch, next 3 basically within 5.1 to 5.3, which is a huge section of the World map in the West, just the natlan starter map is as big as the whole Sumeru Desert - Black Cliff Forge (Area south of Liyue, likely a filler map coming with 5.4 lantern rite patch, just like Chenyu Vale was last year a filler map) - Mare Jivari - very likely an own filler map later, or its part of the volcano region 5.1 will add - Dornman Port and Dandelion Sea, to the north of Mondstadt with Mondstadt finally get again some recognition and expansion this time at the end of Natlan, before we go to Snezhnaya, was we need the port to get from there to it - Snezhnaya naturally itself will add again alot of explorable regions in the north - The Yokai Realm - practically a nice way to give inazuma somewhen again some spot light via paralel world versions of the islands in the Yokai Realm), plus renewing the islands via uderwater map expansions to make the maps this way bigger with nearby new underwater content - Celestia - which could be much more than just a floating small idland..it coudl easily turn into a whole network of floating islands maybe, similar to inazuma, just in the air, if their are maybe magically invisible for us right now, as only Gods could see them maybe unless maybe visible for the mortal eyes - woudl fit also to the fact that Wanderer thinks the sky is "false", because not everythign whats up there, is real, or is hidden for the mortal eye to see. the truth, that theres more to Celestia, than just that one single mini island. - Eventually Enkanomiya expansion, when finally Kokomis story woudl get continued... - Eventually Chasm Underground expansion, if finally Yelans/Xiaos story would get continued - Khaen'riah from 7.x onwards theres enough potential to expand this games world for still more than 3 years easily and by the time we reach out to go to khaen'riah with 7.0, the world map will be already again massively bigger, than it is right now, with all of Natlan and Snezhnaya added to id and several more filler maps in Liyue and Mondstadt being added over the time too. The amount of mobile players decreases with each patch, if they dont modernize every few years their smartphones for more storage...especially if you event dare to think about playing on your smartphone more than just 1 gacha game xD many people dont even have enough storage space with their old phones, to keep up with just Genshin alone, until they get forced to switch over to either PC or PS5 eventually or get themself a better smartphone instead

I think the palace mentioned in Mont Esus is just the previous location of the HotH orphanage, since it mentions orphans and the old "garden" where Arlecchino fought Crucabena (and we later fight Arlecchino as a weekly boss) is in the accessable area of Mont Esus. But yeah, I wanted to see it either way, thought Petrichor was there before was released, it's so sad we finished 4.x patches without Mont Esus T^T it's the tallest mountain of Fontaine, surely will be accessible in the future, right? RIGHT, HOYO? Prayge even if there's nothing there.
I love your speculation videos so so much, because they're always sparking my imagination. It's also "nostalgic" in a sense, because when I was a child, I would play games like Mario Sunshine or Banjo Kazooie with my friends, and talk about what lays beyond the ingame barrier. (We didn't know about the technical aspect of video games back then, not knowing everything was set in a box with a sky texture laid on its wall haha). This whole speculation about future regions reminds me of those days ❤ Speaking of explorsrion, there used to be a really easy to perform glitch back in 4.0-4.2 that let you explore the areas outside of Paimons barrier. Mount Esus was basically "done" on a surface level. You could climb it, there were many trees that actually dropped wood when being hit. Only the furthest west side of mt. esus wasn't done. It was those weird still image mountains, that you fall through. On that note, the area between Stormterrors lair and Qince village is done too. Theres even those brown pathways on the ground, lots of little ponds and both Mondstadt and Liyue trees. I too really hope for Teyvat to be more connected. One of my main motivations for continueing the game is the gorgeous landscape, and all the things to explore.
what if we are going to see the celestia throw a celestial nail this time? to fontaine? because theyre still asleep/hibernation so they still dont know that the hydro throne is destroyed...... well, anyways 🤷🏽♀️
I really like the idea about Mount Esus. It felt weird that we did not get to explore it during 4.x and Fontaine being the only area we don't hear about a celestial nail is good too. Also I had a question. I believe it in was a recent Ashikai video she talked about Bayda Harbor in Sumeru having a lot of empty area in it and sometimes that means they are developing that area with the plan in mind to change / destroy it later, so they want to leave it as empty as possible. Do you think there could be future plans for that area?
Kinda curious what they're cooking for Mt. Esus because there's practically no lore for it lol I like the idea that there might be a Celestial Nail in Fontaine in the future especially knowing what happened in the AQ. The lack of hints for what will be on Mt Esus makes me think it will be an expansion in the far, far future though.
They already implied elevators for boats if you look at the main harbor near Sumeru's desert in Fontaine. If you look at the architecture, you'll notice to vault doors on the lower and upper sections and even a boat exiting the upper implying this exists. As for the Liyue harbor, they forgot to add that upper section although the lower doors for boats exists
I hope Mount Esus won't have to be climbed manually... Fontaine's wave shaped mountains are cool, but they're both saddeningly barren and awful to climb... I think they would add a regional mechanic to help traverse the mountain range similar to what they did in Chenyu Vale.
Snezhnaya isn’t just inspired by russia, it’s also inspired by belarus, ukraine, poland. the ethnicity of names of many fatui npcs are slavic. And by looking at food in one of tartaglias arts, it is confirmed too
