So I have been after a massage gun for a while and was initially tempted by the Theragun but could not justify the asking price. So I done some digging and found the Hoposo massage gun on Amazon for a fraction of the price. So far I am impressed with the build quality and how the machine works. I will need to thoroughly test it to provide a conclusive review.
What do you think of the massage gun? Let me know in the comments below.

Great video, looking forward to the full review.
Thank you Leonard. Hopefully will be up soon.
Great video review, I'm going to take the plunge and buy one thanks to this channel. I also have hesitations about it's longevity, but Amazon sells a 3 year warranty that covers accidental damage too, for around £6. At such a low purchase price, £6 is a good add-on. Thanks again for the in depth review!
You're most welcome Nick, thank you very much for the awesome comment. In all honesty for £6 it's a no brainer. Hope you enjoy the massage gun!
Need to get this! Nice review.
Thank you, good piece of kit.
Amazing review!! Very nice clean edit
Thank you bro!
@Pee-M Mooti That's my brother, lol!
He always supports what I do.
Too right my friend 😊
Thank you so much bro. Highly appreciated!
Yes bro I've subbed! Sick video. We've got a massage gun too, but different to this. I wish mine had USB-C port lol
Thank you bro, much appreciated. USB C is a great!
This massage gun is amazing! It's works excellent! Really gets the kinks out and relaxes mussels.
Very good massage gun!
Bought this just a few days ago for my wife. It seems quite good so far. We've only used it at maybe 10/30 speed and it's still maintaining its 80% charge after several uses. It is VERY intense at max I feel. So far though it seems quite sturdy and well built. Curious how long it will last. Apparently long enough that the rubber gasket-like rings that attach the heads to the gun might wear out from so much use they give you extra ones! I can't imagine those rings falling off, so the spares I assume are from just general wear and tear.
I've had this for nearly 3 months and I only charged it once so the battery is pretty good. We use it several times a week at short intervals. So far I haven't had any problems or issues and it has been great at pain relief. I can't see the rings falling off either but if they do we have some spare 😉 30 is pretty intense although I will sometimes use it for sore aches.
@@KhaledsTech Thanks for the reply! Yeah we've been using it almost every day between both of us and we still haven't have to charge it. It was at 90% out of the box and now is at 60%. Pretty solid. There was a moment where it seemingly just turned off on its own though. Not sure what happened there or if you've experienced that. I suspect it was a safety feature because I was holding it weird and the gun started to "jump" or "hop" on my back and then it shut down. So I wonder if that's a hidden safety feature so someone doesn't hurt themselves.
You're welcome. I am extremely impressed with the battery life too. I haven't come across this issue but you may be right about it being a safety feature. If not used carefully I guess it can do quite a bit of harm. As it's quite a strong and powerful machine.
@@Sanxioned1 How's it holding up after half a year?
Still working brilliantly, haven't noticed any sort of issues.
Hi, thanks for the review. Is it difficult to change the heads? I read somewhere they are pretty hard to change.
Hi Mohammad, you're welcome. The heads are pretty easy and straight forward to change over although a little bit of force is required.
@@KhaledsTech Alright, because I also tried my friend's one, and it needed more than a bit of force :-) to pull the head. But maybe because it was brand-new.
Not too sure why that's the case. For me it's been absolutely fine. Have you bought the exact same brand?
@@KhaledsTech I think it is the same item. This one: amzn.to/3xinsgD
To change the head, you need to just pull it out. right?
Yes that's the same one. I normally twist and pull it out. I find it comes out easier that way.
@khaleds tech Did you ever do a full review of this after further using?
No my friend, I haven't but I am still using it to this day. Apologies for stating a review will be put in a couple of weeks. Hopefully will make one soon.
I got 4 little rubber ring things with mine, what are they for?
They will be the washers for the different head attachments.
Any updated review, would you recommend this?
Hi Seyed, this has been used atleast 3-4 times a week since I purchased it. Battery life is good as I still haven't needed to charge it yet, the different heads work well with different parts of your body plus there's 30 speed settings to cater for all massaging needs/techniques. I would definitely recommend it.
@@KhaledsTech thanks for the quick response mate, looks like a good little purchase. Worried about the weight and vibration transferring to the wrist but seems good. Thanks a lot
You're welcome my friend. To be fair I was worried about the same thing too. Hence why I don't use it longer than 10-15 mins per session.
what mean the number on the LED - one for Rmp, what is the other number? thank you
Hello, sorry I should of mentioned this in my video. But this indicates the power. So for example 10 will represent 100% charge whilst 8 will indicate 80% charge left etc.
Thank you. keep on with your channel! Thumps up
Thank you Marvin! I will do :)
Hey khaleds.....please who is the best massage..
Hoposo..or..foxflake....
amazon egypt😮💨
Hi Mo,
I haven't used Foxflake and can only speak for Hoposo, however alot of these products seem rebranded.
I would pick Hoposo due to using and testing and it's still going well.
Just got this today - I can’t tell if the battery is full or not? It says 10 and then stops charging. Is that normal? The led at the base is green. But then when it loses charge it goes 09?
Hi Asim, 10 represents 100% and 9 is 90% charge. This is perfectly normal and the number will go down over use until you recharge it.
@@KhaledsTech thank you for the swift response! I was getting worried thinking it’s faulty.
You're welcome Asim. Hope the massage gun is useful :)
@@KhaledsTech Thank you, the same thing happened to me, I thought it was defective and that I would have to return the massage gun, thank you very much
You're welcome
My battery number is stuck on 10 while charging . What do I do ?
Hi, the battery life is quite good so 10 represents 100% if you use it for several hours it will eventually move down to 9,8,7 etc.
What was the number 8 on the screen an indication for?
Hi, the 8 represents the charge percentage so 8 is 80%, 7 will be 70% etc.
@@KhaledsTech ahh Thankyou just got one and was wondering. Cheers
Hey, how are you? Very cozy ambiance, it invites to relaxation. Enjoy!
This hand massager sounds like a great investment. I'm just wondering if to this day it still works as perfectly as the first day you've used it? Some people say it lasts for them less than 1 year and that is the only thing I feel concerned about.
2 more questions I'd like to ask. Overall, does it works well for all of the muscles of the body or only in certain regions of the body? And is there a warranty that you can return if the product becomes defective?
Hello, I was a bit sceptical at first too however I have had it for a while now and it still works great. The battery is still working fine and I use it around twice a week.
There is a warranty yes, I normally use it on the back of my neck, shoulder area and the side of my torso. But it works well on other body parts too.
@@KhaledsTech Thank you for your reply, sir!
I appreciate you telling me that your hand gun massager is still functioning super well. Now, I am more tempted to order one to use it on myself.
Keep’ up with the reviews! You are helping a lot of people to purchase a quality product just like you helped me out.
Cheers mate : )
You're welcome Sir, comments like these truly make my day. Thank you for your kind words and taking the time out of your day to watch my videos. 👌🏾👍🏾
For some weird reason mine doesn’t turn on unless connected to the mains
Have you left it to charge for a while? That's not normal, seems like the built in battery is not holding charge.
@@KhaledsTech yes I think it must be the battery as it was charging for 4 hours or so , thanks for the response!
No problem at all, I would recommend contacting the supplier if within 30 days of purchase but if you have had it for a few months they you can always contact the manufacturer.
Hi I was wondering if u figure out why urs didn't turn on? Because I just bought one and mine doesn't turn on either. It's fully charged because it's green. Just needing some advice. Thanks
@@angieandbeaver Hi Angie, it was faulty so I returned it and got a replacement which worked fine :)
Hi, how much did you pay for your one?
Hi, I paid £69.99 for mine.
What is this bottom on the side of the gun??? No one seems to know for what it is...
Sorry Marco I don't quite get your question.
Is it good for people that play alot of sports
It definitely helps in aiding recovery. If you get any aches or pains then please consult your local Doctor.
Did we ever get to see the full review?
Apologies, in all honesty I have been a bit lazy, but I am still using it to this day.
@@KhaledsTech That's a good sign though mate. Honestly I am stuck between this one and the Theragun. The thera is SOOOO expensive and I just cant justify paying £250 for it. This looks good but you know how your mind works... "if its 70% cheaper than the Theragun can it be any good"?
That was my point of view at first. But I think Theragun was one of the first companies to make massage guns and sold it at a premium price, hence the price disparity. I personally haven't used Theragun however I am happy I purchased this. Plus you're covered by a years guarantee. Think of Xiaomi Vs Samsung phones, there is a stark difference in price however performance wise you're not getting that much of a difference. I hope this helps mate.
Any update on it?
Hi Shivani. I haven't created a video in a while. Will eventually upload again
@@KhaledsTech I would love to know your thoughts now as I really want to buy it today :)
I am still using this product to this day. I use it a few times a week and it works very well to relieve pain. Battery life is also excellent. Definitely recommend this product.
@@KhaledsTech aww that's nice! Have you experienced any signs of wear?
I normally take good care of my products. At the moment it's still in good condition as I use it for 15 mins at a time.
I just unboxed mine and it’s nowhere near powerful enough…. My mate got a theragun for Xmas and I played with it and that one’s lowest setting is this one’s highest setting
Hi, although I haven't tried the Theragun "which is a fantastic massage gun" I think you might have received a faulty unit. Try leaving it on charge for a few hours. Then see if it makes a difference.
@@KhaledsTech I did a little bit more research after the comment... and Theragun produced 16mm amplitude (force level) and Hoposo only produces 9mm amplitude... hence the power difference... they don't post that information on the amazon ad... they only show spin rate
That makes sense and good research :) No that's right it's not clearly indicated. This should be displayed to get a snapshot idea and for comparison use. However for the price and what it does I think it's quite good.
@@KhaledsTech Yea it's fine... I mean for the theragun lowest setting is very powerful already... but I mean when i saw the amount of positive reviews and 30 speed settings... i thought this would be just as powerful, and obviously the initial shock that it's not... but like you said for the price it's decent and does the job.
I haven't had a go at the Theragun but would love to use it, I understand where you're coming from you have tried the pinnacle of massage guns so any other product would seem inferior.
Is it powerful enough for those deep tissue?
Definitely is my friend.
so i think you are not a good youtuber;) where's the review??:D
Shoot I am letting alot of people down at the moment. I need to create a follow up video. Sorry my friend. It's something that's in the works. When it's released I will let you know.
so whats the update? is it good ? still going?
Still working and going strong, recently passed it over to a family member and utilising it every other day.
