(sigh) It's close enough. It's as good as one could get.
It's not going to be the same without Thomas but they'll adapt and continue pushing out great music!
You do realise that the vocals you love so much would be gone anyway, right? Tom's voice is destroyed because he refuses to take care of his voice or get training. Listen to any of his recent live performances (especially Bloodstock 2021). He can barely go five minutes without his voice imploding.
It's sad, but it's doubtful that he'd even be able to hit the notes in the studio by the time Album 4 recording happened. He has no one to blame but himself.

@@lintonthepenguin finally, someone with functioning ears! His voice is done and how people can listen to his live performances from the last couple of years and think "Damn, that's good singing" is beyond me. And before anyone gets started on the Wacken 2019 live video, just know that it was edited so he didn't sound like an absolute disaster.
