This seems quite lit. I started "traditional" fighting games with strive (I am a melee nut) and honestly the mod makes all combos straight up free. If the mod tones down damage it would be playable; if nah, touch of death would be way worse than strive. I honestly love spending resource to extend, even if the original combo is a 5 piece. I did play the games before and combos have mad freedom and are very satisfying. Really cool showcase tho
Yeah the damage is quite ridiculous but for me when I played games with friends we didn't see outrageous damage just regular old strive damage but if you know what you are doing then yeah probably one counter combo and you explode 😅

Strive is just a different take on Guilty Gear, and I don’t personally believe Plus is vast leagues better Strive, nor is Strive infinitely worse than Plus, although it is incredibly cool to see previous mechanics and moves in Strive as well as greater combo freedom and movement. Great showcase!
This is a sick mod! I can see why old stuff like this was kept out of strive it would make getting wallbreak and then positive like instant with the right combos and would end up making the game a bit painful but also its cool af. I do wish they didnt remove old specials tho. Hoping some of those come back in the new updates. This point is kinda invalidated by happy chaos getting wallbreak of all his buttons but he's broken af so that doesn't count
1. Please bring side winder back on god 2. I feel like strive can takes notes from some of the stuff this mod has like maybe sols current Di super acts more like axls where he holds onto an instant version that screen freezes 3. More jc normals sounds great

So i'm going to try to detail it as much as possible here I go : 1- Go to gamebanana.com/tools/7162 in this link you will get a guide on how to install a mod manager this will be useful for you because as you mentioned you would like to turn on/off the mod, with the manager you can do it with a simple click 2- after you installed correctly the mod manager go to the guilty gear strive plus mod page here : gamebanana.com/mods/309776 to download it a little below in the page, you will see a button that says 1 click install, once you clicked on it the mod manager will tell you if you want to download it, click yes, the mod is now showing you 2 version chose the one with command list with it, and you are done. If it's to complicated or confusing I can make a quick video about it if you want? Hope this help you 😉

How do the IA for Arcade and survival mode work with this mod? Do they use the custom moves too? I always thought that the IA for this game was so weak, even in maniac difficulty...
The will indeed use the new moves but even at the highest difficulty the ai is still wack, the only ai that is hard is arcade boss nago but the ai cheats for it to be hard so it is weak with or without the mod.

I believe the mod changes the damage scaling too. You actually deal less damage than in the normal game.
