I got an 80 gram pack of original beef jerky for $1.88 after tax the other day, which is a GREAT price. It was on sale to begin with plus the coupon.

Genuine beef jerky in Australia hold in your palate and taste buds even after a swig of beer this stuff is way off.come down under and find out for yourself.not the big companies the little ones they know how to do it.you pay more but worth it.like a good vintage cheese or wine.sad people are fooled easily
I gotta say I think theres only 2 reasons this type of jerky sells, shelf space and price. At any store jack links jerky takes up atleast two rows of the jerky section and it's by far the cheapest available. But it doesn't even taste like meat anymore it's like soft pink preservative cubes 🤮. Now I only buy traditional style jerky that are dry and have real chew to them.
If it has a "real chew" then that's because it's made out of a lower cut of beef with a lot of connective tissue in it. The only "preservatives" in Jack Links jerky are sea salt and citric acid primarily sourced from pineapple. The entire point of jerky is to "preserve" the beef.

wow. Wish I could get that price lol.. My local speedways and gas stations sell the 92 gram pouches for 7-8 bucks.
I pay 14 USD for a pack of jumbo
