I've bought a 2009 Lotus Elise, 6 years ago just like you, and I totally agree on this video. It had always been my dream car since I saw it sitting in a Lotus dealer when I was about 15, and it was such an awesome experience to actually drive on the road. Such a stunning car.

Wow, very cool! The 09 Elise is a super rare car! What color did you go with?
      Cheers!

It’s a great dream car! They are more affordable than most people think. Maintenance is easy and they hold value you really well- it’s like a savings account in your garage.
If you can save up for it and get one, do it! You won’t regret it.
      Best of luck to you!

It does sound great! The Larini exhaust really brought the exhaust note to life too.
2012 Camry is a great car! Add the Lotus next- you won’t regret it!
      Cheers

I have a Ardent Red Elise S2 R with the oem supercharger from the S2 SC. About 220HP.
Own it since 2 months now. Unluckely it is raining almost all days in this period of the year here in the Netherlands.
The car is very clean so i don't want to drive it on muddy and salty roads.
It is from 2006 and now only 40k kilometers on the odo.
I will subcribe to this channel.😅😅

      Hi, Nick!
We are getting ready for winter here too (West Virginia, US) but I’ll drive it as long as I can until then.
Wonderful car you have! I appreciate you subscribing and the comment.
      Cheers!

The Elise is one of my all time favorite cars and it is also my "affordable" dream car! It's not as good as you say it is. It's amazing, but this video is more biased than factual.
    Just constructive criticism

To each their own. It is incredibly good as far as many of the things I mentioned are concerned.
There are certainly some down sides to owning it, but the compromises made in the ride, build quality, etc, are made up for in the drive. I’ll touch on some of the down sides a bit more in a future video.
      I appreciate your input! Thanks.
