In Keys's interview, he said, "It’s not just zeros and ones, it’s hidden messages. I like to think of myself, actually, as not a code writer, but an author. I just use zeros and ones instead of words ’cause words will let you down. But zeros and ones, never." And at the end, Guy mentions that he was written by someone as a love letter to Millie. It all comes full circle; Keys expressed his love through his code because to him, that's more reliable and accurate than trying to say how he feels. 💗
Whoever wrote the "I'm just a love letter to you" speech needs more work. The composition of it is so simple but its word play slaps. definitely my favourite bit of dialogue from the movie....followed by "you seem adjective"

Chris Evans' cameo was freaking amazing...
Also honestly? If I found an NPC like Guy... Dude I would be challenging and fighting him every chance I get... Finally a worthy NPC opponent who won't just scream and run off whenever I draw a gun...

Lol yeah I mean why don't the bank npcs fight back I know it's there coding but it be more interesting game wise
@@Lumberjack_king Combat AI is harder than basic movement scripts, so it's easier to just give it to dedicated hostile enemies than to every NPC.

We all thought guy's habits matched milly's cause she was the co-creator, but when they revealed it was actually him implanting all the hobbies milly has into the game characters. He expressed love through his 0 and 1 language, shit was touching.

On paper this movie shouldn't have worked. But it did because the writing was excellent and it has massive amounts of heart. I cried when Buddy was erased too and at the ending. Also it was kinda edited out for international release but if you look closely at the ending scenes you can see coffee girl and the bombshell ended up together which i thought was sweet. Another great reaction guys :)

When Guy put the shades on DUDE, the music that was playing was the theme song of an early 80s TV show called The Greatest American Hero. For the time it was pretty cool. The main character had this super hero suit that allowed him to fly but he never got the hang of it so he kept flying into things.
...because he lost the instruction manual for the suit.

Yeah this movie speaks on many things and makes you think if you are smart enough to pick up on it , the people that hate on this movie aren’t that smart and are the people that are responsible for our messed up world

For the "leveling up" montage, the glasses Guy uses are different pairs. They change style throughout the montage, and there's a deleted scene where a Nut Vender NPC is killed by a player character, and Guy steaks the player's glasses as restitution for the player's actions.
"How'd she kiss him? There's no button for that!" Well, she's a really good programmer. She probably programmed a key in just for that moment, especially since she went there to wake him up again.

Ok I was really looking forward to this movie and was actually really surprised at how good it was.
What a lot of people don't think of or discuss is the fact that these two people created the first actual artificial intelligence that evolve and then spread to other NPCs and gave them artificial intelligence as well that changes the world for them not just the NPCs not just for the game characters but for real life AI like that they can learn and grow and expand its own understanding of existence changes the world on a level that we cannot understand at this point
She still got her blue shirt guy in the end 🥰 I adore this movie. It has such a deeper meaning as well.

Most movies have good/bad ending but some have perfect ending and this one is always gonna be in the hall of fame for me, along with The dark knight, dark knight rises, Shawshank redemption and others.
Watching gamers react to "Free Guy" is like being able to sit in the 1984 premiere audience alongside the great and good of 80's music and watch "Spinal Tap".
I love when Guy tries to order the cappuccino I don't know if you caught that or not a lot of people miss it the first time nobody laughing goes just coffee like he was making a joke it turns and starts to roll away
The "kiss button" was probably quickly programmed in when they realized they needed to have the kiss happen to retrigger the AI again.

it's actually a triple, since the double has a double meaning - he got her excited, but she also has a literal _button_ that gets her excited
Millie should haved give to Molotov Girl (her character) her same personality so she would become self conscious like Guy
- But that wouldn't work, because Guy was an NPC with a program, Molotov was an empty shell, it was just her Avatar, her skin, and every thought and decision was made by Millie, and when Millie wasn't logged in, it was basically like an outfit hanging in the closet, with no awareness and only was active when her user (Millie) was wearing it.
@@Arthaius it works if Millie restructures Molotov Girl's programming and applies to her not only a personality based on her own but also the same algorithm that evolved Guy's code
@@alessandrolucci1986 - But Molotov doesn't HAVE any programing, she is a skin; without Millie being logged in, Molotov doesn't exist other than as a collection of textures, there is no programing to restructure, because she isn't an NPC.
@@Arthaius if she remodel can convert her to a basic NPC She could uses that aspect and builds the NPC on top of it
@@alessandrolucci1986 - Yeah sure if she wants to she can create an NPC and use the "Molotov" Skin as a base model sure. You could make many new NPCs with potential to develop in this way, for example "Dude", was just new NPC using the base design of "Guy" as a model, but slightly different so his development will go in a different direction from Guys. And the new Molotov NPC would develop however the parameters of her base program was set up.

The antigravity gun tractor-beam thing that Guy used on Dude is from Spider-Man: Homecoming...when he stops some robbers stealing from an ATM, and they're all wearing Avengers masks. That was the device they used to rip the ATM out of the wall.

Antwan is a classic narcissist...almost too classic. He's willing to piss off the playerbase, because he's entirely confident that he can either win them back , or replace them. He sees them not as people, but as money-dispensers that he collects from. To him, it's all a matter of pulling the right trick to get them to put out...and his arrogance makes him believe wholeheartedly that he'll always be able to pull it off.
.
So, he's willing to risk a variety of other complications, simply because that costs him less than what Millie's lawsuit would cost him...because if she won, she could potentially take every single dollar he's ever made on the game...and I'm willing to bet that's the company's only real money-maker at the moment.

I really didn't expect this movie to be good
Don't let Sims players play the game at the end. They're would be players in there just to see how many ai they can seduce. There would also have to consequences for the player who wants to see if the ai will die if they are caught swimming in a pool without a ladder.
