A well explained video. As usual you explain everything without any "gobbledegook". Thanks for sharing and a happy new year for 2023.

Hi Jenny, really enjoyed that and that’s a great tip on feeding the wire through.
    Happy New Year

Hello Jenny, happy new year. I have the same building as you, I have yet to in stall lighting in the building so mine is not glued down. Next look like getting some lamps for station platform and my street scene. Have put some lights in my engine shed after watching your previous video. Mick

I like the style of the ones that you have used. I will be DC only so I could use the resister boards to get the correct brightness. I just hope that DCC Concepts does not stop making them before I am ready. A Happy New Year to you and Zoe. Martin (Thailand)

Hi Jenny very good and informative video, I am thinking of installing these street lights using DCC. Is the alpha mimic plug and play board the same one that comes with the building lighting kit, also if using them on DCC do I still need to use the resistor boards if using the mimic board. Or are they used just when using D.C.
    Cheers Brian.

Jenny, I thought we had to use the resistor boards? Can you please elaborate? Thanks

Only if running the lights from power other than the Alpha Mimic boards.

Very informative and helpful video Jen. Are the lamp wires coated in some sort of clear insulating material? They appear to be bare copper on camera which would short circuit.

They are enamel coated and hence insulated from each other.

Hi Jenny Another great innovation from DCC Concepts, although I wish they would do them in N. Thanks

Not saying that you should take up modelling street lights, but, you could tell when you were by the colour of the light. 1960s very orange ones.
