We are not cursed. With such negative thought you bring your own curse. I am a beatiful petson from a higher power who is much loved I am not cursed cause my skin is dark. All tbose college graduates Africa has let them come up with ways to modernize their counties to ffer work at home oppurtunities instead of migration out of Africa every freaking time.

I used to get more views before I revealed my face, I'm located in and grew up in North America, there is an embedded bias from consumers/audiences for people of our skin color. It's the truth.

That is true 💯in fact even some of our own peeps would rather watch creators of a different race and disregard their own.

@tessogamba Have you ever considered the fact that very few of our own are authentic. The rest all do the same content, like the people in the west. House tours, clothing hauls, etc etc. Meanwhile I started watching house tour content in 2010 so now our people have just woken up to youtube and started coping of course no one will watch them. I stopped watching house tours I now watch village content because it's different.
Even the content you do on transcribing jobs was done many many years ago so you might find your biggest audience are African people who might have recently heard about such jobs. People who are young graduates. If Africans had their own type of content and we all watched it just like Chinease watch their own content and don't care if the west watches them or not, we would be much happier. Everyone is competing with my relocation to Canada, London, US. No one wants to watch that any more.

@BoqPrecision, I think you should go back to not showing your face if that was bringing in more views. Look out for your pockets.

My only attempt at making money online is RUclips.. and it has not been easy to meet the monetization requirements, but I keep going. I also have a 9 to 5 , and am a mom and a wife. God bless you please find me when you land in Kenya we can share a meal as we chat away in My Kitchen

It breaks my heart to hear you say that being African is a curse just because it's difficult to get online in Africa. First of all, getting online is only the first step to making money online. Once you get online, you are competing with the entire world to sell your goods and services. The people who make the most money are educated professionals. You have to become an expert at something or have some kind of talent for something that is in demand before you can make a lot of money on the internet.

First you shd change your title Africans are not cursed or Africa is not a cursed continent it’s one of the richest and blessed with infinite abundance.2nd poverty is a state of mind no one is born poor.Thirdly there was a remote company that was doing great it’s worldwide I forgot its name a lot of Kenyans were working and making good money but do you know why it was shut coz your leaders didn’t wanna pay the taxes. So blame your filthy corrupt leaders that don’t care for the peoples welfare. Also a lot of Africans own expensive phones and ride expensive vechicles it’s just a matter of priorities
