I cannot believe how much info you packed into one video. My brother asked if I would figure out how to make multi color decals for his r/c race cars, and you did all of that already.
I have not looked at all of your videos, apologies if this is covered elsewhere but what is the best home printer to use for this process? I have no idea if inkjet or laser jet can do more than the other but I need a bit of guidance.
Also, no need for the decals to be waterproof or need any UV protection since he races at indoor tracks, most of them have a carpet racing surface.
    Thanks in advance!

      Thanks for watching...much appreciated!!
As far as a printer, as far as i know, any printer that can print a good quality image should work. I happen to have an inkjet type, so I can't speak to a laserjet type. I'm running a Canon Pixma Pro 100, but I know other crafters out there are running basic $50 Epsons and making stickers and decals that look pro.
As far as waterproofing, that's even better then that he doesn't need to add that. I would say that adding a layer (you can laminate it like I did, or spray a clear acrylic before cutting) might add more durability to the sticker. But then again, if they get messed up, you can just print new ones!
Thanks again for watching. I really do appreciate the support!!

Been playing with ai art for a couple of years. I should've been making stickers the entire time!
    Great video. 👍

I know, right? It does make it easier and faster. I find it's good for making an "80%" there image and then tweak it as needed instead of starting from scratch.

Hi, thanks for watching! I use a couple different ones, depending on what might be on sale at the time. Here are a link to a few that I've used and have had good experiences with:

If I wanted it to leave the backing on (kiss cut) and have a sheet of stickers would I just reduce the cutting depth or is it a different setting? Thank you

In my experience, it's been a bit of both. For kiss cuts I have the depth at 1, and the force a little less than the standard settings, if I recall correctly.

    Is this good for outdoors?

Sorry for the late reply. For printer settings, I used: glossy photo paper (for the media) and high quality for the print quality. Thank you for watching, and sorry again for taking so long to reply.

Do you have any recommendations for a more budget friendly printer?

Here are a couple that I've seen others on various forums mention they like.
I don't have these, but they're generally well rated.

It's free right now, as far as I am aware. I went back on tonight to see if something changed, but it still appears to be free. There are also other AI programs out there that are free, like Open Art AI or Kittle (they do have pay upgrades) but the functions work the same.

    I have a Mac

Mac's are good computers. I have PC, so I'm not too familiar with Mac's. However, I understand much of the functionality is essentially the same in Silhouette Studio. Some of the keyboard strokes or commands may be slightly different (like using the "Command" button plus a key in Mac, vs Ctrl button plus a key in PC), but from my understanding, the program user interface is pretty similar.
