you should just start doing obscure locations with a doctor who happens to just be nearby to give you a cranial nerve examination. for example, “lost at sea cranial nerve examination” and a doctor swims up to you randomly to give you an examination. it could be a meme

I have a similar issue. Ascent and in the air isnt that bad, but descent is extremely painful until I manage to kinda "burst the bubble" so to speak.
