In Europe the labels must show nutritional value per 100 grams. That way there's really no point in trying to cheat with serving sizes, and you can compare foods easily.

I think it's more about companies trying to make their food look healthier on the ingredients section on the box. It makes their product look healthier when they put the sugar and sodium and all that for just a portion of the box, versus the whole thing.
A serving for chips is you set the family size bag in front of you, and you eat until you tell yourself "I've eaten a lot of this bag", then you grab a few more as you take it back to the kitchen.
As someone who almost always agrees with rhett when it comes to food (I will eat almost anything tbh), Link's attitude to pretzels is the FIRST TIME I ever agreed with him regarding food.
Rhett shaking his measuring cups to make sure they contain an accurate amount of Chex vs. Link rescooping his cups to make sure they are over-filled and therefore inaccurate because it probably "feels" better to have a generous scoop is a pretty good encapsulation of their personalities.
