The man is mostly known for being an Expo and Met - his prime with the Expos but such an integral part of the Mets as well and he ended up with doubles in each of his plate appearances for both teams. The man was truly blessed and MLB was blessed to have him. A true and worthy Hall Of Famer in my book.

I can’t believe it’s been a dozen years since Gary Carter died. From 1977 to 1987, he had nine 20 plus home run seasons, ten seasons with 70 plus runs batted in of which he had 100 runs batted in on three consecutive occasions (1984-1986).

What if I say he's the greatest catcher ever? Right up there with Bench and Pudge.
