    There should be more 1 year later (or starting from 3 months) review video’s. So excellent job for sharing with us your true experience! 👌🏻

    I have mine about 6 months, I switched to EMG 81-85,u have to use a little bit force but it fits.I had SD Blackouts too, but bridge cavity is too shallow for them...changed pots coz there arent 25k, but overall its great guitar, I have no problem with it

    • @ToroKchannel
      @ToroKchannel  3 года назад +7

      on mine, there's absolutely no way an EMG 81 or 85 can fit in. Your experience is interesting cos it means that all these amaroks are not the exact same :)

      Oh really? Any idea which other popular pickups that might fit easier, or are the EMG 81s just particularly big? I'm liking the look of this guitar but I don't want to be stuck with one set of pickups, if that's a concern.

      Could you please tell me at what price you sold your Amarok ?

    • @ksbkonto
      @ksbkonto 3 года назад +1

      @@ToroKchannel It was around 340 usd. The specs on the amarok are amazing, mine was absolutely flawless in every way but i could never connect with it. It had no musical soul if i could call it that….
      The Eart GW1 is incredible. I bought it directly from the chinese factory and i have never had a guitar with a neck and especially frets like this. Its headless so now my Dullahan goes up for sale soon even though i have modified it with better pups and push/push pots…. 339 usd for the GW1 is absurd. I have guitars from 6000 usd up to 11000 usd which come not even close to the highly polished and extremely rounded stainless steel frets of the GW1.

    • @ToroKchannel
      @ToroKchannel  3 года назад

      Ok I see your point. I took a look at Eart guitar's website and well, yes, they look cool and the sepcs are pretty amazing for the price ! They sell in Europe but you have to pay fees and shipment so it makes them much less interesting than for you. Thanks for the tips !

    I'm looking into the Amarok 7 Lefty against the Schecter C-7 Banshee Elite FR S Lefty. It's €1000 difference, but I think the finish is nicer, the specs fit me a bit better and the neck is thinner. But for €600 the HB is so hard to beat.

    • @ToroKchannel
      @ToroKchannel  2 года назад

      @@Bogdan27911 the Amarok 7 is a very good guitar ! There are several differnces and it starts with the shape and thickness of the neck (Thin U, 20-22mm on the MH-417 and C shape with 21-23mm on the Amarok). The tone of the EMG Hot 70 is amazing eventhough the 81-7 and 85-7 are very good too. Because of the bridge the playability is different as well. Both are very good 7 strings and if you can, the best thing to do is try them both to make your choice according to your feelings.

    • @ToroKchannel
      @ToroKchannel  3 года назад +2

      Thanks ! These pickups are really awesome for both rhythm and leads. On the bridge pickups your pinch harmonics will sound like an angry beast :) they sound much more open than the classic 81/85.

    • @ToroKchannel
      @ToroKchannel  3 года назад +3

      yes a little bit when I play too hard. These 11-56 strings are made for standard D, so playing in C# makes them a bit soft but I didn't feel like changing my action setups :)

    J ai eu ce modele mais en baryton, alors sur le papier génial emg ,grover, manche traversant prix mais après 15jours, elle ne tenait plus l’accord notes étouffés et qui frisent donc renvoie chez thomman je n’ai jamais su d’ou provenait le problème, mais je ne peux pas me permettre d’avoir une guitare qui se deregle sans savoir pourquoi donc pour moi l’avanture amarok c’est fini en meme temps, une guitare a moins de 400 E c’est limite. Dommage mais la copie est a revoir et sur thomann trop de stock B(retour) sont a vendre et ce n’est pas pour rien....

    • @ToroKchannel
      @ToroKchannel  3 года назад

      Je pense qu'ils feront comme avec les Fusion, ils finiront par sortir une Amarok II, fabriquée ailleurs (chez Cort, pourquoi pas) et exempte de défauts. C'était leur première incursion dans le "haut de gamme", sauf erreur de ma part, leur première pelle à manche traversant, et du coup, hélas, il y a du déchet. Dommage que tu sois tombé sur un modèle raté, parce que quand on en a une qui est bien faite, c'est vraiment un régal à jouer.
