I think the only reason people didn't suspect is cause you never really imagine Ailee would ever walk through the door.
i was thinking maybe the students were hard working to the point that they dont pay much attention to kpop stuff due to their study...and thats why they dont recognise her when she walks in and talks? haha
this is an engineering major we're talking about. and students majoring in engineering sometimes can't follow outside world as fast as anyone else cause a ton piles of work to do lol, i think that's why they can't recognize her right away cause they're not that familiar with her

Hahahaha.... If those students didn't recognize Ailee with merely those eyeglasses, I can now believe Clark Kent's disguise may not be such a lame disguise after all.

Exactly why I think it's a lame disguise. Hahaha! We tend to suspend our disbelief when it's a work of fiction like with Clark Kent / Superman. But when it's done in real life, like in this case, and to our surprise, the disguise worked. Or so it seemed. Even Ailee herself seemed to be incredulous that she was getting away with it, thus her trying not to laugh in the beginning. But if you think about it, the only reason the disguise worked was because no one was really paying attention to the person, whether it's Clark Kent or Lecturer Lee Yejin in this case. That's why it seemed to work. hahahahaha. It's really very funny. It's not really the glasses that disguises them. It's the people's attitudes towards their alter-egos that hides their real identities.
Actually Clark's disguise is not as far fetched as it seems. With the status that powerful and well known celebrities have, people are inclined to never think that anyone with that kind of status would be right there in front of them. There was one time Michelle Obama casually went to Walmart without anybody and the only person who recognized her was the cashier.

Anyways, there are PLENTY of instances where famous singers casually make appearances in public. Just none that have been at a university class so far. You'll mostly see them in the streets. Ed Sheeran has plenty of those instances. There was a talent show in the mall and someone was singing Thinking Out Loud and he just happened to go up on stage and sing with her. Plus Maroon 5 making surprise appearances at weddings.
