So after the death of sanni abacha and abdulsallam abubakar took over and allowed democracy to come in to existence again, then tinubu was compensated by nadeco to run for gubernatorial election for lagos state because of the help he rendered to some of the people that ran away with him. Then after he emerged as the Governor, that was when we started seeing the animal in human skin of a man we thought is a good guy, he started doing a lot of crazy things by looting and enriching himself and his families, those that opposed him he will clear them away from the road. That was when he had problem with his deputy bucknor adetokunbo akerele. When that woman of integrity could not joined hands with him in his shady dealings. He then forced or lured the house of assembly who were most likely all loyal to him, to impeached his deputy, just like what he tried to do with ambode now. After his deputy was impeached then femi Pedro was made his new deputy, then tinubu had another problem with femi Pedro when the guy was nursing the ambition of contesting the next governor of lagos state in 2007. Tinubu needed someone he can trust to cover all his mess when he left the office, then he kicked against Pedro's ambition and tinubu then again with his tactics used the same house of assembly to threatened femi Pedro with impeachment proceedings then, until the guy decided to resigned voluntarily and defects to labour party to actualized his dream. Having said all that, let's not forget about late engineer funso Williams a former commissioner under olagusoye oyinlola a military governor of lagos state. Funso anthony williams was a member of AD, and he was aspiring to contest after one term tenure of tinubu in 2003, but because of the greedy attitudes of Almighty tinubu, he wants to run for another term. So funso Anthony Williams was humiliated and he had leave the party to PDP to also actualized his dream, so the election of 2003 was keenly contested and tinubu rigged his way in and become the Governor for another term. Then in 2006 a year to another election funso Anthony Williams was preparing for another contest, in fact he was tipped to win the next election in 2007 but was brutally murdered in his house of which the question about who killed funso Anthony Williams remains unanswered till today, but rumour carried it out that tinubu master minded the killing of which everybody believed.
