i got into mortal kombat about a year ago and delved into other fighting games from there. i picked up tekken 7 a couple days ago and hwoarang instantly stood out to me purely because he’s a taekwondo master, and as a white belt in taekwondo who’s just learning the basics, seeing him pull off kicks id only ever heard of before was super cool. still trying to learn the fundamentals of the game and hwoarang, tekken is entirely unlike mortal kombat and it’s been a challenge for me but i’m determined to learn the game and specifically this character.
For those who wanna play hwoarang at high level and really wanna master Hwoarang u should start first by mastering just frame skyrocket its the most important move and u should be able to do it effortlessly while moving. Nice guide man.
same here. just started a month ago and i’m only a white belt but it’s super cool to see some of the absolutely insane kicks and hand techniques this character has
Hmm if anyone watching could maybe let me know, but at 7:19 when I try and perform the dash into RFF F-3. I find that I can't land the F-3 to go into the RA.. Is it still possible to perform or am I just missing the timing. Great video though!
The most likely problem is the FF4 pick up part of the combo. You want to delay it a bit and hit the opponent when they're closer to the ground. This way, they won't be getting knocked back too far after the RFS B4 screw. That alone should make this combo very consistent. Just in case, you should also keep in mind that when you do the manual 3+4 transition, doing it raw will keep Hwo in place, while f3+4 will make him take a small step forward and give you an extra bit of movement. Let us know if this helps, good luck!
@@treloaded5791it literally shows what all of that means in the very beginning of the video??? 😂 that’s why he ignored you l o l it shows the picture of the controller and shows EXACTLY what numbers represent each button and letters represent each direction, then even has a bunch of other terms with abbreviations as well. It’s almost like you didn’t even pay attention to the video but if you can’t understand a super simple picture that spells everything out; I don’t know why you think a comment with the exact same thing would make a difference.
Hwoarang is quite a tricky character to pick up, but the fun playstyle and freedom of expression is well worth the grind!
Picking up hwo getting ready for t8 , he gonna be good lol so this is nice .always need more tutorials:)

The most difficult thing for me is implementing it online.
My main reason for picking Hwaorang as my main is because i practice taekwondo. He doesn't disappoint
