hi there, friend. quite a hodgepodge this week. it's always interesting to see what you are reading as there seems to be no rhyme or reason. this is not a complaint. i wasn't able to read the coffee strip this week. alas! you are making me want to go back and read the stars my destination again. i've read it several times but it's been over ten years now so maybe it's time to visit an old friend. this was one of the books back in the day that really made me like science fiction. i thought jaunting was the coolest thing ever. and who doesn't like a good revenge story? hamlet, after all, is a revenge story. amirite? ;) i'm reading a big book for my book club in ten days and i'm loving it. the magus by john fowles. just sharing! that's it for today. i thought for sure you would mention the united healthcare ceo. just goes to show how much i know (not much). take care and until next time.... 🦷🦷🦷
hi friend always keep them guessing, honestly i feel like a strict TBR can ruin people's reading, make it feel like homework. i just finished "the stars my destination" i love it even more now and i cant believe how much of it i forgot. makes me feel like i need to re-read all my favorites. reminded me of a saying "you really havent read a book till you reread it" sorry that my camera didnt pick up the coffee man comic, ill try harder next time. at the time of filming my video i didnt even know that they caught the CEO killer, but my thought on it is that it doesnt mean anything cause theres always another asshole in line. cant just kill one cockroach gotta take out the nest . take care until next time and i hope you enjoy you book club🦷
Didnt know about Tiger Tiger, lol. Glad your faith with newer releases got renewed a bit, I find the folks who love classic SF tend to be a bit snobby about pretty much any other form of literature. 🦷
