I changed my dead laser tube. I have a Reci W2 100W. Installed the new tube, alligned the mirrors and cleaned the 3 mirrors. When I press "Pulse" button, the hole on the wood (4mm poplar) is great. Small and through the wood. But when I try to cut a shape, then the line is thick and not cutting through the wood. Maybe the problem is that I didnt clean the Leans in the head?
Thanks for the tips! Will isopropyl alcohol work? How often to you clean the lens as opposed to the lens? So Cloudray is the brand you're recommend if I wanted to get a longer focal length lens?
cloudray is a fine company for c02 laser parts as well as Rabbitlaserusa.com they are in the USA and cloudray is in China. denatured alcohol is what I recommend. I have not tried Isopropyl

Jay. Thanks for the great video. I just purchsased my first laser, a China Red & Black 80 watt machine from eBay, how do I find out what lens came with it, so I can purchase a better quality lens and mirrors?
Hello I actually own one of the black and red 80w from ebay mine came with an 18mm 2 Inch lense and 20mm mirrors check out cloud ray for replacement lenses and mirros. You can take them out and measure or check with the manufacture to confirm sizes however with this being your first machine. I would keep the cheap lenses and mirrors in this machine until you figure out the best way to use your machine honing in on the right settings makes alot of smoke and make you need to clean them more and every time you do there is a possibility of scratching . Well I hope this helps jay

The lenses and mirrors you use from Amazon do you think they would work on a omtech 40 watt desktop laser?
Yes just get the correct diameter and focal distance they are good

Maybe I assume you focused your laser to the top of the wood ?
American Photonics is quality also for mirrors and lenses.

Best way to clean co2 mirrors is with lab grade acetone with 100 percent cotton balls and tiffin lens wipe for glass the glass lens

@@phototec it works the same way just put it right over the mirror frame just do not push it down to the mirror so the adhesive doesn't touch
