@ShikisRhythm Well, actually, it's a prolonged vowal on nihongo, and usually we write it with an "U" after the "O", just like in "ARIGATOU". But I don't think it's a rule, since there's no problem writing "Byo", once you you pronunciate on the right form. But in Hiragana they write with the corresponding letter to "U" at the end.
