Since 2007 I have been a big fan of Gautam Gambhir.
Plus his 97 selfless knocks in 2011 World cup, proves his worth.
He also did wonders with KKR in starting 4-5 years winning them 2 trophies.
He is straight to the point.
He is unbiased.
Yet people only wants to see/ hear him and Virat to fight.
I think both should let bygones be bygones and both can have a mature talk.
I only wish both became good friends from a cricket perspective and GG shares his insight to Kohli to get even more success to India.

As long as Kohli and Rohit are scoring runs, they should be picked regardless of their age. But India would have to find a new captain in the long run to replace Rohit. I'm not sure Hardik Pandya can be the captain especially since he gets injured quite often.

I never understood someone like Pant who played at 3 and 4 in ipl plays at 6-7 for ind in t20s how will he perform. @@siddhantk4985 It is easy to say that now as we won 2011 back then and we lost this. But, if we are not honest about why we lose, we will never improve. It is not just youngsters choking. Win or loss, what is the RR at which we scored between overs 10 and 40? Yes, when Kohli was there... What choking are we talking about there? Not saying we would have won, at least a fighting chance... scoring between 3 and 4 an over for that long... only adds pressure and it was lot tougher to bat by the time Jadeja and SKY got in, lot worse than when Kohli played. Their strategy backfired, as they really took their sweet time to get some partnership like test match level and then got out. We were extra defensive in key overs.

Disagree. I still remember 2007 very well. Foreign coaches having better strategies is a myth. In loss everything looks bleak, remember we were winning everything just a match before. We need to think about adding good all rounders to team and improve more on fielding. We are on right track.

No..not the T20 World Cup as IPL itself is a T20 format league so it will in fact be good for them..but yes for other ICC tournaments like Cricket World Cup or Champions Trophy or World Test Championship definitely IPL is responsible for ruining them

Rohit can't play away test matches. He has only 2 away test centuries whereas Virat Kohli has 16 away test centuries.

Will be knocked out because team will be fatigued after ipl .... Game time will help but fatigue will make them loose out later at important stage....and no one is gonna skip ipl matches like other countries ( aus players who have clear plan and focus)

Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma are legends of Indian cricket so i think they deserves better farewell. atleast they should play until ct 2025.
