Brought back some great memories watching you on the ship Gigmaster.I used to sail on the Oceanic in the mid 1990's out of port Canaveral working for a company doing seagoing maintenance refurbishing the boilers on the ship while she was on her three and five day cruises to Nassau in the Bahamas when she was with Premier Cruise Lines.(happy times). 22 cruises for my wife and me Steve. On our third cruise, we booked a balcony room...we've never looked back! Your cruise pros were spot on. To be honest....I can't think of one negative!! Our August cruise is 10 days touring the British Isles. Best cruises were the Alaska cruises. Two of those so far...more in the future. Absolutely awesome cruising Alaska. Wishing you and your family a fabulous cruise Steve.

We were on an Oceania cruise ship the first time and on the Grand Princess out of San Francisco the second time. Both were excellent. What line were you and Mrs. Gigmaster on?
You forgot to mention rough waters. I was on a smaller cruise ship and the normal waves felt like side to side. Then we hit rough waters. The water in the pool was clearing the deck around the pool. We were riding the waves from front to back. A lot of people were sick. Barf bags all over the place and so was barf. Some of the staff were sick too. It was hard to get to sleep that night. That was the one major thing I didn’t like and the other was our seating time for dinner. But other than that, it was great!
Very nice review, thanks. You left out one very important “con” which drives me crazy. The last cruise we took, the ship automatically put a 15% gratuity (each) on our credit card. This made me go ballistic because there was no consideration if the service was good , bad, or even non existent, just . . . . . bam! . . . . . on your card.
Sea sickness would be a major concern for the wife. Myself been on a few boats even when everyone got sick I was cool but don't know how I would do without being able to get eyes on a horizon (helps with sea sickness) that would be my biggest fear. Great job Steve. Nobody is going to say your not an adventurous person lol.

No treasure in Bahama jail. 😂 I just did not know the legalities where I was going. Family time.
But I just know you are going to be looking at the Bahama beaches and thinking about how much bling is in the sand there and their beached probably dont get hunted the way our beaches do. I am going to Kitty Hawk this weekend to see my brother and will be doing some beach hunting while there.

That's my neck of the woods there's so many party Islands only accessible by boat I never see anyone ever metal detect them wish you could hit them up and find the treasures!
